Bird not only left the nest but is set out for hunt. Canute's character took a 360 turn and I am starting to get what what his philosophy is. Regardless, good episode, fight and tactics were amazing, love the team work between Askeladd and Throfinn.

We can see Canute's transformation fully manifested in this episode. Earlier episode, we can see him as timid, dependent to Ragnar and sheltered by faith but now, we can start to see a new side of him - one shaped by the harsh realization about the world.
