In the 80s OVA boom there were countless projects which aim to push the limits of what anime can do. Twinkle Nora's push is how low a budget can really go while still trying to and save as much money as possible. The animation is nearly non-existent, the music is extremely jarring, and the story can be best described as a mixing pot of tired tropes and cliche. And yet, this will forever hold a place in my heart. Every decision it makes is incorrect, yet there is a charm that runs throughout that makes it difficult to look away. If you're the kind of person who enjoys a "so bad it's good" watch, do try and watch Twinkle Nora. I promise there will be something you will take away from this one.
