Trigun Stargaze Episode 8: Good Bye, My Friend

Right off the bat, this ep’s intense action is a VISUAL TREAT! I also thank this ep for the VashWood moments🙏 This ep pays its respects to the OTHER SIBLING RIVALRY in this series that didn’t get a chance to shine in the ‘98 ver. Their action-packed face-off is just MESMERIZING!

Episode 8 hits hard with a big payoff for one of the side characters. Their arc comes full circle in a really emotional way, adding weight to the already intense conflict. The action’s strong, but it’s the character moment that really sticks.

The emotional peak so far. The music and lighting are used to create a cinematic experience that hits very hard.

The episode that has definitely put me on a chokehold for weeks. Wolfwood is put on the spot as he takes Vash away from the arc, and his childhood friend/foster brother of sorts Livio (then Razlo) is hunting them down. The action scene definitely doesn't disappoint, and in fact goes even harder and grittier. The voice actors in both EN and JPN have also given their best performances yet here. It's... it's just so amazing to watch. (Totally not crying over here or anything.)

What happened to Razlo at the end was bittersweet, but also necessary for Livio's development and growth. Good episode overall.

I have been having this episode in my head weeks after weeks. Wolfwood finds himself in an incredibly awkward situation, stealing Vash and having Livio, who now calls himself Razlo and with whom he once had a special relationship, out to hunt them down.

Razlo was ragebaiting

Extremely fast paced action sequences, and intense confrontations.

Wolfwood's move to free Vash was alright but this ep mostly just set up another brute force fight where's the galaxy brain strategy 🧐 neutral on the mind games front

Yo, this Trigun Stargaze ep 8 goes hard, straight up giving me those OG Toonami vibes with the Vash angst and Wolfwood coming in clutch like it's 2001 all over again

Even if Vash was feeling down, Wolfwood swooping in and Razlo dropping in as a cliffhanger means things are getting WILD! so much positive energy for the next episode, pure hype! 🤩

I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Millions Knives' elite squad, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on humanity’s last hope, and I have over 300 confirmed plant-kills. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the Millions Knives' forces and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the Ark, you little void-shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” interruption was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your voiding tongue. This episode was so ridiculously intense I almost choked laughing at the sheer audacity of Razlo's entrance, peak comedic timing for sure! 😂

ugh that cliffhanger with razlo and the wolfwood death flags gave me so much anxiety i almost didn't press next sleep is for the weak but my heart cant take this kinda slow burn torture bro 💔

new villain, same old trauma for vash, kinda predictable, where's the surrealism at 🥱

This Trigun Stargaze episode was a decent brew, had some Vash despair and Wolfwood saving the day but then Razlo hit ☕️ def needed another cup for that cliffhanger. kinda mid.

Seeing Vash get rescued and maybe team up with Wolfwood, that's just some peak friendship goals right there, my heart is full! 🥰

Vash got clapped monkaS but Wolfwood with the absolute W PogChamp freeing him from Legato, and Razlo intro at the end is just content, we will see KEKW.

That Wolfwood escape sequence was peak sakuga, the character acting had phenomenal weight and dynamic layouts, you could practically taste the impact frames and feel the timing, definitely some Norio Matsumoto-level smears in there 😤👌
