Oh, hello Nai 🔪…WAIT, WHAT? Stargaze’s take on the puppeteer battle is visually stunning~ The slick, high-octane animation is simply captivating. Leonof’s UNHINGED voice acting's a great touch👑 Vash is back in action, and the reunion with his old friends is subdued, but sweet!

Great action sequence from Vash and the Puppetmaster, and there's more mysteries regarding who's stealing the rest of the plants in No Man's Land. A hype episode that shows that Vash still has it and a reunion with the gang after JuLai makes it bittersweet.

The gang is back together! I really hope for more Wolfwood and Vash scenes, with their dynamic being so interesting. The end was ominous too.. with the design of Kni being unsettling but not overly gory.

The two brothers' reunion was short lived and much less emotional than I'd like, especially with all that happened in the previous series. It also felt incredibly sudden and overshadowed by the flashy combat scenes later on.

The episode dove right into action, with otherworldly battle sequences that felt like both sides were on even playing grounds. The battle with the puppet master was interesting to watch due to the opponent's unique skills and techniques!

Episode 3 really leans into the villains and the bigger conflict brewing in the background. You get more insight into their motives and how dangerous they actually are, which makes everything feel way heavier. It’s less about heroes this time and more about the storm building up.

The pacing kicks up here. It’s an emotional episode that highlights the cost of Vash’s pacifism without revealing the outcome of the major conflict.

Picking up from where E2 left off, Vash the Stampede showcases yet again his gunslinging mastery and combat abilities. This episode is filled with intense action almost exact to Vash's own POV that'll leave you breathless as you follow along.

Immediately after the last episode, this episode immediately goes directly into more of Vash demonstrating how talented he is in gunplay and combat in general.

Episode 3 is a bit slow paced, It focuses more about the character and and their stories, especially Vash. Which helps us deepen our understanding about him. This episode is thoughtful and well done.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the quarter mark of a twelve-episode run, 'Memento Mori' functions as a turning point — the fallout and character work established in 'Unforgiven' gives way to escalating external threats and new antagonists. This episode bridges early-season setup with the larger conflicts ahead, reuniting Vash with key allies while introducing adversaries that signal a sharp rise in stakes. It sets the trajectory for the mid-season stretch where those threats will fully materialize.
