A very captivating start full of goofiness, intrigue, and action packed into a great episode with smooth CGI visuals and a fresh take on Vash Stampede's story.

Coming in hot, we immediately see Vash's younger self - and a central event to his life as we know it. Upon the surface many, many decades later, we see how life has become of all those who inhabit No Man's Land, of how Vash creatively deals with his problems. I love the VA casting they did for this on both EN and JP! Can't wait to see what makes this adaptation unique.

This episode had a strong start. The desert setting looked great, and Vash felt both funny and mysterious. The action scenes were smooth, and the story quickly pulls you in.

Vash the Stampede is chaotic, goofy, yet oddly heroic. A world kept alive by mysterious plants, a massive bounty, and a darker brother lurking. Hooked immediately.

starting of the first episode was in fast pace but it slowly works on character development while reporters met VASH then the story gone smooth and with excitement.

Going into it I was comparing the 3d animation to the original's 2d style so I was a bit biased in that regard, but eventually the show's charm, and the loveable idiots we follow grew on me. The story centers around a wanted criminal who brings destruction wherever he goes.

Why?

Animation is absolutely great, VAs are doing a astounding job the feeling of the anime is great, so why did the writers choose to leave Milly out the cast? I come from the OG Trigun and this doesn't make sense to me.
That and Vash's hairstyle. I like it, but not for Vash

I was hesitant to start this because of the bad reputation of 3d animation. I'm glad I tried it.

I found the characters' banter and chemistry adorable.

The world's setting is both curious and beautiful. Would love to watch this on a bigger screen.

Such an interesting direction for Trigun and one that I would say is outright bad. At least from just this first episode, there are baffling changes being made from the original Trigun. The most glaring being the gun switch. I cannot abide a 22lr over the classic 45. Long Colt.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the first of twelve episodes, 'Noman's Land' is purely foundational — it introduces the desert planet setting, establishes Vash's paradoxical reputation, and pairs him with the journalist duo who will serve as the audience's lens into his world. Everything here is setup: the relationships, the mysteries surrounding Vash's past, and the broader planetary stakes that will escalate across the season's compact run. With only twelve episodes to work with, this premiere moves with purpose, planting seeds that the following episodes will begin unraveling quickly.
