I sorely wish more was done for the fight scene between Lin Qingyu and the monster he fought! While it conveyed how strong he is against a formidable enemy, it wasn't really as well done as the time Ming He fought Dr. Zhao. There's also a good amount of emotional beats in this episode, but it only falls short of being great. However, the ending does tug on the heartstrings!
