Synopsis
In the town of Engamori, supernatural beings known as yokai, gods, and humans have been living amongst each other for centuries, each striving to lead ordinary, peaceful lives. One day Buchio, a 20-year-old cat, mysteriously evolves into a nekomata, a feline yokai, near the end of his life. Although this allows him to stay with his human family longer, it also makes him question the reason behind his evolution, along with the special abilities that have recently manifested in himl. Meanwhile, an elementary school girl named Mutsumi "Muu-chan" Sugimoto begins to feel more attached to Jirou, a tengu—a crow-like yokai—and Jirou begins to fill the void left by her late father. scabigail★★★★★EP 13Woahhh okay so again did not expect the ending plot to be like this but it was certainly very heartfelt. Overall this anime has been a joy to watch and loved the vibes and slice-of-life feels. Animation was very nice to watch too. I would recommend this to people who are looking for a slice-of-life anime to watch as it has pretty intense parts too but they manage to keep it balance so it didn't feel too much for me
scabigail★★★★★EP 12First of all, Ma-san is so cute and such a little guy I wanna protect him lol. But this episode is most likely the turning point of this series because I definitely did not expect it to turn out this way with all the Oni and intense scenes.
