To Every You I've Loved Before

Es una película hermosa, y para la temática se mundos paralelos es sencilla, el como aborda las posibilidades y las decisiones (u omisiones). De hecho me gustaría verla de nuevo, siento que hay cosas que debo ver con mas atención.

This is part of two parallel movies, the other one being To Me, The One Who Loved You . The order in which you watch them completely changes how you experience the plot. This was actually the second movie I watched, and watching them in this order left me with a satisfying conclusion to everything that happened in both movies.

I enjoyed the movie, especially the relationship between the two leads, but I was confused for a lot of it. The concept is interesting, though I wish it was explained better. The pacing and voice acting felt a bit flat, but the animation and visuals were great.

It was touching at times but more than anything confusing, and leading nowhere. Now, setting aside this, the movie does have an emotional weight that's somewhat moving; goingo from love to chance to life to death. The concept of alternate realities being used as a means to escape emotions wasn’t as well communicated. However, I found it to be extremely beautiful and tragic. I cannot really speak on the quality of it because I would’ve probably ended up hating it, but it has some valuable aspects to it and I chose to focus on those.
