I went into this expecting something generic, but the focus on Takeshi's depression and how he just wanted to end it all gave the story a weight I wasn't prepared for. Miyu being a total amateur at her job is the perfect comedic foil to his situation. Seeing them both struggle as virgins makes their bond feel surprisingly genuine.

Miyu trying her absolute best to be a scary life-draining demon and just ending up being a total klutz is the highlight of the whole episode

I expected a typical succubus story but seeing Miyu fail so badly at being a demon was actually funny and it made her way more interesting than the usual seductress types

Takeshi surviving every attempt because Miyu has no idea what she is doing is a hilarious twist and their dynamic is already weirdly sweet

You can feel the loneliness in Takeshi's life before the summoning and it makes the comedy hit harder when Miyu shows up and totally messes everything up

The dark humor of Takeshi failing at his own suicide attempt because the demon he called is incompetent was a clever setup

A succubus who is a total failure at being seductive is a trope I can get behind because Miyu is just a mess

Miyu's face when she realized her demon tricks werent working on Takeshi at all gave me a good laugh

The art style is surprisingly good for a show like this, and it makes the comedic expressions during the failed seduction scenes land so much better.

You can tell these two are going to be a disaster together since they are both clueless and the co-dependency is starting early

That 444 times rule sounds like a lethal workout but watching Miyu fail so hard at it was hilarious

Seeing a succubus who is just as much of a virgin as the guy she is trying to kill was a great twist

Takeshi being totally fine with dying as long as he gets laid first is a crazy way to start a show and the irony of him living is funny

It is kind of wild that Takeshi went into this whole summoning ritual literally just wanting to die after finally losing his virginity, but then Miyu ends up being so bad at her job that he survives and just gets addicted to the feeling instead. I loved how her big boast about the 444 shakes completely fell apart because she is such a klutz.

I actually felt bad for Miyu when her 444 hip shake plan totally bombed and she was too clumsy for her own good

I didn't expect to actually laugh this much but Miyu being a total novice at being a demon is so funny. Her logic about the 444 hip shakes causing death is ridiculous, and it makes her way more likeable than the usual powerful succubus character. Takeshi is just as pathetic for wanting to go out like that, so they actually fit together pretty well

Watching Takeshi get addicted to her failing to kill him was not what I expected and his facial expressions during the hip shaking bit were gold

The whole idea that a succubus could be a virgin and have no clue what she is doing is a fun twist on the usual tropes and it makes her seem weirdly wholesome despite the plot

I think the bit where Miyu tries to count her hip shakes to kill him but fails every single time is hilarious and the way they are both virgins makes the whole thing so awkward

Miyu failing at the literal one thing a succubus is supposed to do is hilarious and Takeshi just wanting to die from pleasure is such a weirdly specific vibe for a protagonist

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the first of four episodes, this installment carries the full weight of establishing Miyu and the series' ground rules — there is no prior episode to build on. With only four total episodes in the run, this premiere is doing foundational work quickly, likely introducing the dynamics and tone that the remaining three episodes will escalate rather than complicate. Expect Episodes 2 through 4 to build directly on whatever Miyu sets in motion here.
