being back together with Caius made me so happy for Koichi after that terrible kidnapping and i hope they can just be safe now

Baro better hurry up with that fruit or Koichi is not going to make it and the suspense about the cure is the only thing keeping people watching right now

that rescue scene was so cool because Caius looked so intense charging in to save his bride and the actual moment they reunited made it worth the wait

that beast scene is actually disgusting and that part at the start of the episode was just way too much to watch

i needed Caius to get there and grab Koichi back from that creep so fast because my chest felt tight seeing him in that situation during the first few minutes

That moonlit scene where they finally shared their feelings felt like a massive turning point for their relationship and seeing them head back to the castle together was so satisfying after all the drama

Koichi asking for mercy for the person who kidnapped him shows how kind he is but it also feels like the plot is moving way too fast to address the actual trauma involved

Watching Caius stay by his side while he recovered was everything to me, and that confession of love was the perfect way to end this stressful kidnapping arc

Letting Baro off the hook so easily is a weird choice and the anime really dropped the ball by not explaining his motives like the manga did because it makes Koichi look too forgiving

It was so intense seeing Koichi finally admit his feelings after holding them back for so long, and I think Caius promising to die after him was such a heavy but beautiful moment for them. I am still pretty annoyed that the anime skipped the explanation for Baro because it makes the whole situation feel gross without that context from the manga though

The way Caius just held Koichi and comforted him after all that trauma was so sweet and it really feels like their bond is deeper than just the summoning now

My heart was hurting when Koichi talked about losing people in his past but then he finally told Caius he loves him and I just want them to be happy together forever

Baro basically gets away with everything and it feels so wrong that the show is glossing over what he did to Koichi just because he went to go get some fruit for them

Caius promising to outlive Koichi so he never has to be alone again is the most romantic thing he has said so far and it really shows how much he cares about his bride

Koichi actually saying he loves Caius out loud was huge and it made the whole kidnapping mess feel almost worth it since they are finally on the same page now

Kouichi trying to protect Palo even after the mess he caused shows how much he has grown since arriving in this world

I was really worried after how the last episode ended, but seeing Caius comfort Kouichi made my day. The part where Kouichi finally said he loves him was everything I wanted from this show since the first episode. I hope Palo gets that fruit in time because that closing door at the very end has me really nervous about what happens next

That cliffhanger with the door shutting on Kouichi is such a stressful way to end things when they just got back together

Caius staying right by Kouichis side during that talk shows why he is the best choice for him and the way he reassured him was so sweet

I finally got that confession and it felt so good seeing Kouichi admit his feelings after everything they went through to find each other again

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode follows 'The Night of Disaster', which saw Koichi abducted and the central relationship thrown into crisis — the most dramatic disruption of the season. At episode 8 of 9, 'Night of the Full Moon...' functions as the climactic turning point, pushing Caius to act and setting the stage for the finale, 'To Vow Love at the Center of the World', where the emotional and romantic payoff of the entire series is expected to land.
