udahh lamaa bangettt ga liat Meliodas dan Elizabethh huhu. Rasanya nostalgia banget nonton ulang, apalagi animasinya masih bagus dan jalan ceritanya tetap seru buat diikutin. Karena udah pernah nonton sebelumnya, justru rasanya beda dan malah makin menikmati tiap momennya.

The introduction was really good, it hooked me up instantly and kept me engaged throughout the episode. Now that one of the seven deadly sins has been introduced, I wonder how they will bring in the other 6? I'm curious now. Elizabeth's personality is so calm and she is so beautiful, whereas Meliodas is a total pervert 😂

A first episode that grabs you and leaves you wanting more of the series, thanks to its animation, intrigue, well-designed characters, and action scenes.

It was such a solid start for a first episode! While it is undeniably dialogue heavy, this denseness feels like a calculated trade off to prioritize world building and character stakes. Still, it did a great job of catching a glimpse of the thrill and teasing the hype.

The world feels large from the start—Holy Knights, betrayal, and a fallen legendary group create immediate stakes. epic lore collides with over-the-top comedy, giving the series its distinct identity right away.

This earns 7.5/10 for me. A lively fantasy opener with strong chemistry between Meliodas and Elizabeth. Also have a clear quest setup, energetic action, and playful tone, though fanservice and tropes are evident. Promising world-building with immediate momentum.

The universe is introduced and the primary conflict is laid out effectively in Episode 1. At the start of the novel, Princess Elizabeth is out looking for the fabled Seven Deadly Sins. From the beginning, it is unclear what their true identities are and if they are criminals.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the series premiere of a 24-episode season, this episode exists entirely to launch the central quest. Elizabeth seeking out the scattered Seven Deadly Sins to reclaim her kingdom from the Holy Knights. It introduces the core duo of Elizabeth and Meliodas, establishing their dynamic and the mission that will drive the entire first season. Every episode that follows builds on this foundation, expanding the cast as each Sin is located and recruited for the fight ahead.
