And the soundtrack on the end was also super angelic, it gave me actual chills! But that ending was definitely not what I was expecting😭✨

THAT was a crazy debut episode! I went in expecting something peaceful, maybe a mild conflict, but that narrative twist sure packs a punch! What I liked the most were the scenes during the day where certain characters are also given the spotlight aside from Emma, Norman, and Ray, but Ray's vibe of cynicism really stood out to me the most. And that final bit just before the ending theme came in — bone-chilling! Definitely a must watch!

Ep 1 is the definition of slow burn. You feel totally safe and cozy… and then it just smacks you with how dark things really are. And because you actually care about the kids, the horror hits way harder and will let you stay to watch what happens next. The writing is superb.
