reirei★★★★☆VerifiedEP 15I'd be lying if I said I didn't like this episode, lol. Spica was so chaotic in the second half. Though, honestly, I'm hoping for the plot to move forward even more. I kinda want some real conflict now.
All Spica Virgo has ever dreamed of is becoming a great sorceress, but she's got two problems: her magic is mediocre, and she has zero connections to get into the Royal Diana Academy, the most prestigious magic school around. Then she meets a talking black cat who turns out to be a cursed sorcerer, and possibly the key to everything she's been working toward. He agrees to train her in exchange for help breaking his curse, and that's how Spica ends up with the world's most unconventional magic tutor. The setup is pretty simple, but what makes this work is the dynamic between the two leads. You've got this eager, slightly over-her-head apprentice paired with a mentor who's literally been reduced to a house cat. The comedy writes itself, and the fantasy elements give it room to breathe beyond just jokes. There's a genuine mystery underneath about who this cat actually was and why he disappeared, which keeps things from feeling too lightweight. If you liked Little Witch Academia's vibe of an underdog girl clawing her way through magic school, this hits a similar note. There's also a bit of The Familiar of Zero energy in the mismatched mentor-student thing, though way more chill. LIDENFILMS is handling the animation for this 2026 TV series, adapting a web manga that's been quietly building a following. It's comedic, youthful, and the kind of fantasy that doesn't take itself too seriously while still giving you reasons to care about where it's going.

katana★★★★☆VerifiedEP 15Light and funny episode. This was pretty good. Both parts gave me a good laugh and were entertaining to watch. I really liked this episode.
sandaime★★★★☆VerifiedEP 15A little unhinged in both the first and second half, but it still ended with a good lesson. I really liked the storyline in this one. It was pretty light-hearted and humorous.
lance_328★★★★☆EP 14I lost it when the doors opened and all those buff maids started flexing and Spica looked like she was about to pass out from the sheer muscle mass on display
near_nemesis_114★★★★☆EP 14Arthelf falling from the sky and making a crater just to say hello is such an intense introduction for a dad and he really is just a giant beast
bounto_bane_479★★★☆☆EP 14Leo running away from her own debutante ball just to hide with her lions was so relatable and I love how she chooses wild animals over stuffy noble parties
nekomata_ninja★★★☆☆EP 14That duel between Leo and Arthelf went way harder than expected and seeing her pin her giant dad to the ground while yelling about being a scholar was incredible
reirei★★★★☆VerifiedEP 14I liked this episode. It was entertaining and light-hearted. The way the story progressed was smooth and well-paced. This episode really added depth to Leo's character and her relationship with Spica.
katana★★★★☆VerifiedEP 14The storyline in this episode was great. I liked the friendship between Spica and Leo that was shown here. They were really wholesome. Other than that, Leo's family was so ridiculously buffed that it became comical, lol.
sandaime★★★★☆VerifiedEP 14I liked Leo's character. She reminded me of Mereoleona from Black Clover. This was a pretty enjoyable episode.
pam2026★★★★★VerifiedEP 12Conclusión de la amenaza a Spica y sus amigos con un buen ritmo de la historia y un final más ameno y divertido.
catarina_claes_164★★☆☆☆EP 13Claude becoming a cat because Alke wanted to be free is such a weirdly tragic motive and I did not expect her to dissolve into light like that and the lore dump was actually really solid but then the second half felt like a totally different show with the maid job setup and I hope the pacing picks up
sailor_tin_nyanko_392★★★★☆EP 13The reveal that Alke was the daughter of the cult leader explains so much about her power, but it makes the betrayal at the academy feel even more personal for Claude.
gilbert_bougainvillea★★★★☆EP 13Wait Alke used her magic to save a stray cat before everything went to hell and that was actually so sad because she was so happy just being a normal student back then
sakurabloom★★★★☆EP 13Seeing Spica have to process all this heavy cult stuff and then immediately worry about being broke hit me because it is too relatable and fifty thousand gold for a book is such a scam
kenpachi_killer_104★★★☆☆EP 13Pegasus-sensei taking a bath in the middle of class is the most unhinged thing this show has done and you have to see it and the contrast with the dark flashback was crazy
reirei★★★★☆VerifiedEP 13I liked this episode, though it wasn't amazing nor bad either. It was a decent episode that introduced some important plot details. The second half felt a little slower, though, and maybe not as important to the overall story, lol.
katana★★★★☆VerifiedEP 13A little slow of a start for the second cour, but it was still interesting. At least, the first half was. The lore surrounding Claude and the war from two years ago finally came to light. I actually liked the more light-hearted progression of the episode, though.
sandaime★★★★☆VerifiedEP 13Ooh, the new opening and ending themes were so cute! They looked much better than the first ones, lol. Anyway, I loved this episode. The plot is becoming more interesting now that some lore has finally been revealed. It still feels a bit far from the main action, though, and leans more into its slice-of-life side.
