We got a summer festival episode in order for Tamon to better understand love. Thanks to a little intervention from Ouri which actually helps Tamon and Utage to realize their feeling by a little. We also get more background of why Tamon dye his hair to add to our lore journal.

The date of the festival was so good 🥹🎆. The fake relationship turned real-feels vibes hit hard. Ouri lurking = chaos energy 😤. But the end hurts a little... Tamon forgot that getting better at speaking felt like a setback 💔

Festival NOT date episode lol. Tamon is trying to figure out love so he can portray heartache better and decided a festival would give him the answer. Cute and heartfelt episode overall, I'm hooked.

Well, you can’t learn love or even search for it, you just feel it, like the two dudes do, but in different ways. I loved the Summer Fireworks Festival theme, it felt like their first date… but more from Gloomyhara’s rather than Hottiehara

We get a festival scene since Tamon wants to learn what “love” is. The festival vibe feels so warm and heartfelt. Turns out Ouri follows them and thinks they’re dating. Then Tamon gets jealous of Ouri and suddenly claims Utage is his girlfriend??? Heart attack 💘

Tamon wants to know what love is, so who else to ask but Utage? The series' first date episode takes place right here, where Tamon and Utage drop by the local festival to help him pick himself up after his first setback as an idol and build resolve for the ongoing center contest.

Episode 4 delves far into Tamon's understanding about love, where he asked for Utage's help. This episode also shows a progress of their personal relationship. Animation's quality is consistent from before and the dialogue is really good in discussing about love in multiple views

I bet Ouri kun will fall for Utage as well. I can feel it! Love triangle with Tamon! So, Utage's friends will murder her *evil laugh*

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 3's rising tensions between Tamon and fellow F/ACE member Ōri Sakaguchi, this fourth installment pivots inward, shifting focus to Tamon's personal growth and his evolving connection with Utage. Positioned roughly a third of the way through the 13-episode run, it serves as a bridge between the setup phase and the heavier emotional terrain ahead. It directly lays groundwork for Episode 5, "RAIN," where personal and professional pressures are expected to collide more forcefully.
