Looks like the MC"s mission is cemented, his results feel pretty well-earned, but leaves a bitter taste because of how brutal the scenarios he had to go through in order to achieve them were. The future episodes are definitely going to be bombb

RIntaro's subsequent scene with Moeka was heartbreaking and hard to watch.. honestly I did not want to sympathize with Mayurii's killer, but her scenes in earlier episodes helped me garner tons of sympathy for her character.

The exploration of Kiryuu Moeka within this episode felt emotionally sound, from the getgo since her first scene with Mayurii, she definitely came off as a sincere person. I did not expect that scene with her though, I definitely expected her to be a more central figure as a rounder..

When depression meets fake kindness, manipulation happens. With only one D-mail left before getting the IBM 5100 back, it is finally time to dive deep into the madness that is the life of Kyriuu Moeka. Can Okabe be able to see past his hatred of her? Was her D-mail even true?

Moeka’s character becomes much darker here, and she seems almost obsessed with following orders from FB. Also, it turns out that the message she sent was not what Okabe originally thought it was. We're the same Okabe I thought it was a message not her buying a new cellphone haha

An intense, dark episode off the bat. This focus on Moeka/SF goes a little off the rails as its revealed how she actually is outside of her silent nature, it's almost enough to pity her except she's still responsible for several people's misfortunes in the future, including her own.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned at episode 19 of 24, this installment is deep in Steins;Gate's second-half descent, where Okabe systematically attempts to reverse each D-Mail and its consequences. Following the challenges of 'Fractal Androgynous,' this episode escalates both the emotional and ethical stakes surrounding Moeka's storyline, serving as a critical pivot point. It directly sets up 'Finalize Apoptosis,' pushing the series closer to its endgame as the weight of every timeline alteration compounds.
