I forgot how much of a struggle it was for Jinwoo at the start and seeing him get absolutely thrashed in that dungeon made my stomach turn a bit

Blue flames lighting up around the room when the boss encounter started looked so cool and it made the cliffhanger way more intense

Jinwoo coming out of the gate all bandaged up and covered in scratches really showed how much of a struggle every single fight is for him

Contrast between the city streets and the blood inside the gate made the violence feel much more grounded, and it really sold how dangerous being a hunter is

My stomach dropped when the doors slammed shut and trapped everyone inside that room with the giant god statue

You can tell A1 Pictures put a lot of work into the lighting and art because that double dungeon room looked incredible and terrifying

I really liked the extra scenes they added for the other hunters since it made the world feel a bit bigger than just the main character and his problems. That ending with the commandments on the stone tablet was such a heavy way to finish the premiere and those giant statues moving their eyes actually gave me the chills.

Seeing the group enter that hidden door and find the massive stone throne made the whole episode feel like a horror movie

Animation during the first dungeon raid looked so smooth especially when Jinwoo was struggling to stay alive against the monsters

Those giant statues at the end really creeped me out and now the wait for next week is going to be rough

I felt so bad for Jinwoo when he got stabbed by that goblin because he is just trying his best to help his family

I was really surprised by those extra scenes with the side characters that werent in the manhwa because they actually made the world feel a lot bigger and more lived in right from the start seeing Jinwoo struggle just to take down a tiny goblin shows how much work he has to do and that cliffhanger with the temple door is just mean

Hearing the explanation for the hunter ranks and how the portals work made the setting easy to follow and the art for the city looked very polished

That giant stone face at the end was such a great way to close things out, especially with the way the eyes started glowing red right before the cut

Jinwoo getting his wounds healed by Juhee hit me hard because he really is the weakest hunter ever but I like his motivation for doing it anyway

Watching those statues stare everyone down at the end of the dungeon was terrifying and the animation for the blue portals was really clean throughout the whole thing
aobozu_blade_46's avatar
aobozu_blade_46
the art style looks solid and that statue room at the end was genuinely creepy because of how huge those things are and the way that one statue just started moving its eyes while everyone was trapped inside was a great way to end the first episode on a massive cliffhanger and you can really feel the danger jinwoo is in

my favorite thing was seeing how much jinwoo cares for his sister despite being the weakest person in the room and it makes him feel very human
sterngrand_sword_488's avatar
sterngrand_sword_488
seeing the contrast between the sunny city and the dark dungeons makes the world feel lived in, the ending with that blue light was a total trip

it was cool to see the raid on the island at the start even if it was not in the beginning of the book and the animation there was smooth
