QUICK TAKES

From the beginning to middle, we get Isseki Sagami’s flashback with the children. It’s a heartwarming moment between them. Then at the end the episode drops a plot twist that makes us desperate to watch the next one!

Good episode, but it did feel like half the runtime was dedicated to exposition. I liked the reveals, but the villain explaining literally everything at once was a little overwhelming. The dropkick was hilarious though xD

The alien was giving a TED Talk about its genius plan while Tetsuo was preparing the most disrespectful attack imaginable LMAOOO

The lore dump actually delivered. So many questions finally got answered without feeling boring.

Episode ini terasa cukup lambat karena sebagian besar isinya adalah flashback tentang masa lalu Sagami dan anak-anaknya, memberikan kemanusiaan pada Sagami. Sayangnya aku tidak peduli. Namun, di paruh akhirnya, dalang sesungguhnya mulai menampakkan diri. Membuat episode ini jauh lebih penting.

I still feel sick after seeing Sagami force those kids to eat raw Kaiju meat and I cannot believe he actually did that just to keep them alive

Everything shifted once Heracles erupted from the snow right after that emotional heart to heart between Yuma and Sagami and it put the stakes through the roof

Tetsuo offering Sagami the title of savior just to give the man some peace hit me hard and it showed how much Tetsuo has grown since the beginning

Nadare revealing that she orchestrated the entire world freezing over while wearing Riko's face is genuinely unsettling and her bending her neck like that made the whole scene feel wrong

You really feel the weight of Sagami's trauma when his hair turns white from the stress of saving those children and it makes his desperate need for validation make sense

That reveal about Riko being a monster that ate the real one years ago is a total gut punch and it explains why her behavior felt so off this whole time

I couldn't stop thinking about Sagami feeding those kids the raw Kaiju meat just to keep them alive and it makes his current obsession with being a savior feel so much more tragic now
