Enjoyed the episode. Nothing much happened other than characters' backstory. However, I do enjoy seeing the karaoke scene animated.

Another fantastic episode with great atmosphere and soundtrack. The characters and the plot feels so natural and wholesome, even the tiny details. Nice it juggles friendship while remaining lighthearted and mostly undramatic. The student's self-introduction were good vibes.

Wow, so this anime even has a “snake,” though it’s still pretty mild. Iwakura is super innocent, which is probably why Shima likes her. Luckily, she has other friends who treat her well. When she accidentally calls Shima by her dog’s name, their dynamic is just too cute!

Another mildly great episode, great for wasting time since the story is laid back and heartwarming. It's enough to fill your fluffy side from time to time, the pace was standard for an daily life anime, dont expect any fast development or stunning visual. Still it's a great anime

Mitsumi thinks she's making a friend but the girl just wants Shima's number. she's crushed. then Yuzuki steps in and calls her out. turns out Yuzuki is actually cool? they end up bonding. some friendships are fake but some are REAL. 👀

Funny Episode, Slice of life, school life. Her joke is not funny to her classmates but she thinks its funny

Watching Mitsumi's struggle of making friends while Shima making friends like "easy peasy" is soo relatable 😅. This episode felt like a warm hug. Nao-chan's encouragement to Mitsumi is adorable to watch.

The episode shows the experiences of Mitsumi as she adjusts to life in Tokyo as a girl from rural Japan. The feeling of isolation can lead to hurting yourself, but she isn't afraid or shy to embrace her flaws and continues to be herself.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off Episode 1's introductory rush of Mitsumi arriving in Tokyo and stumbling through her first day, Episode 2 slows down to establish the social landscape she'll be navigating all season. It transitions from setup to character groundwork, letting early friendships — particularly with Shima — develop the roots that later episodes will test and deepen. As episode two of twelve, it's doing essential foundational work for the relationship dynamics and personal growth arcs that define the rest of the series.
