Oshimeter
Synopsis
There are some things that people are unable to say while they are alive; for these, there are "shigofumi," letters carried from the world of the dead to the world of the living. When a person with strong emotions dies, they are able to create a shigofumi, whether their feelings are of love, longing, or resentment. It is the quiet and mysterious Fumika's job to deliver these messages from the departed. Along with her talking magic staff Kanaka, she ensures that each shigofumi reaches its intended recipient, even if that person does not want to face its contents. Fumika witnesses the tragedies of people, both dead and alive, and sees their deepest secrets revealed. What is unclear, however, are the details of Fumika's past. Who was she before she came to be a carrier of shigofumi?

arzh_vic★★★★☆VerifiedEP 12Surprisingly, even though I thought the other episodes were great, I didn't like this ending all that much—it just didn't hit me that hard emotionally. You know what I'm still thinking about? Shouta and his killer, and that happened almost at the beginning! Damn, that was an incredible story. Anyway, as for this episode, I'd say it ties up the loose ends, at least regarding what happens with the two Fumikas—it feels like a reconciliation between them. And about their parents? Completely negligent. Oh well. See you all in another anime! ✌️
arzh_vic★★★★★VerifiedEP 11This episode isn't as emotional as the others I've seen so far, but it does have a few developments in the plot. What will happen now that both Fumikas are awake? Will they become one? That's the mystery this episode leaves us with as we get closer to the end, and it seems Mika's mother will make an appearance as well. Honestly, in this episode, a few loose ends were tied up, but new ones were created. I'm curious to see how it will end.
arzh_vic★★★★★VerifiedEP 10Another emotional episode about a guy who loved his niece with his life—literally. I really like how, within a single episode, the anime makes us grow attached to a character only to have us say goodbye to them by the end of it. In my opinion, that happens when a story is well told. Even if the episodes don't always contribute to the main plot, they are still worth watching because every secondary character has a life full of emotions and memories. Still, once again, the end of this episode leaves us hooked with what's happening to Fumika's other half in the hospital. We're getting close to the end!
