Man I don't think there's been a single episode where the animation has felt lackluster, they really took their time. As far as eye candy goes, this is what the Wethermon arc has been building up to, the cream of the crop. Let's not lie to ourselves and pretend we want some stellar, award-winning level of writing. We're here to see colours splashing and swords clanging and boy does this episode exemplify just what we came for.

sunraku tossing the item right before the instant death strike hit him is absolute cinema on the other hand pencilgon pinning the mech so katzo could punch a hole through its core was 10/10 teamwork. witnessing the final fate of wethermon like a true samurai 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️

What an excellent episode! I'm glad I got exactly what I wished for from the last episode and see Pencilgon and Katzo give their all against the Kirin robot. The action never lets up in this finale of the boss battle. And can I just say that the animation still remaining as crisp as it looks is quite impressive? A lot of the times, many series fail to get that consistency so important parts like this only end up looking horrible/understated. Much kudos to the entire staff of SLF!

We reach the peak of battle animation. They saved the best animation for last. It's amazing how each move leads to the final strike. The consistency and and attention to detail is perfect.Impact frames in both fights are so beautiful and impactful that your heart beats harder.
