she really needs to quit that job because her boss is a total nightmare and the stress is clearly getting to her

the animation was a huge step up from the pilot, and the way they handled the pacing in the bedroom scenes felt much more natural this time.

that transition from the stressful office meeting to her walking home in the dark felt very real and kind of depressing

she looked so different with her hair down in the second half and the voice acting was really on point today

the lighting in her apartment during the night scenes made me feel like i was actually there and it was super comfy

it was a bit much when he kept pushing her while she was clearly tired but the ending made up for it

the way they animated the rain in that one scene looked way better than i expected for this kind of show

i really liked how they focused on her being exhausted from work before everything started, because it made the payoff feel earned. my favorite part was when she finally stopped worrying about the office and just focused on him. the art was super clean for the whole second half and i think it topped the first episode for sure.

This show is like a big warm hug, and seeing Fushihara finally get some rest because of that tiny ghost is so sweet

The way the little ghost wants her to go home makes me want to cry because I know how bad those office hours can get in real life

It is a bit weird seeing the baby ghost girl and thinking about how she actually died but the show is too sweet for me to stay sad about it for long

You can really feel how tired Fushihara is and it makes the ghost appearing to help her with work feel so much better and more wholesome

That scene where the little ghost girl tries to scare her but just ends up being super cute is exactly why I like this and it feels like a warmer version of Senko-san

Learning more about where the ghost came from was a nice touch and it makes their bond feel even more special now that they are getting closer

The voice acting for the little ghost is so calming and it really fits the whole atmosphere while she tries to get her friend to go home early

That ghost girl is way too precious and seeing her try to comfort a tired adult just makes the world feel a little less harsh for a few minutes

The animation during the dance was actually really fluid, and it helped balance out the sadder parts of seeing her stay so late at that desk

I felt a bit sad during some parts because the overwork theme hits home but the ghost girl being so supportive kept me from feeling too down

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly after the series premiere, this episode builds on the foundational character and situational setup introduced in Episode 1.
