It slows down a bit and shows consequences instead of just nonstop fighting. It still keeps that weird balance of comedy and danger.

It was kind of a heartwarming and sad episode in the early part. After that, it shifted to action, and he met another chicken like him! So he's not the only chicken that can talk and fight!

Keiji hitting the road like a lone wandering samurai is pure comedy gold. The scale of the monster design in this one was massive, and the way the team animates the physics of a fighting chicken dodging giant claws is breathtaking.

Un episodio más lento que su estreno, pero que muestra un poco más de Keiji y al nuevo personaje Piyoko, creando un contraste con la personalidad de ambos.

Si kecil ini siapa namanya? Emang belum dikasih ya? Hahahaha. Gemes kali. Pengisi suaranya juga bikin makin imut. Action-nya makin seru.

Piyoko is a welcome addition to the series. She's energetic to the point of being a bit annoying, but still funny to watch. This gives us a contrasting view of Kenji, who is serious and tough. The ending is a cliffhanger, is the chicken they encounter a friend or foe?

Capítulo un poco más sensible y tierno que el primero, pero sigue con su toque divertido y de acción.

the emotional flashback for oto-chan works well within the quick pacing the show has established. the demon design continues to be genuinely unsettling, contrasting effectively with the humor. a promising new character is introduced at the end.

it was a cute and funny way to introduce one of the main characters, the hectic personality of Piyoko contrasts with kenji's which is serious and not emotional at all but thats what makes it interesting

The episode moves quite quickly, from introducing Piyoko to the last introduction that leaves us in a cliffhanger, I also liked the story with Piyoko, from its love towards her "father" to the bittersweet goodbye.

Gets a bit chaotic with Piyoko’s nonstop energy, but it still builds the story well. That “DUTY” moment stands out. Keiji may seem cold, but he’s not heartless. We learn more about the demons, too. Pacing slows a bit, but it’s still worth watching.

Heartwarming introduction for our chick character! Love that Keiji goes all out whenever he tries to defeat Demons. The animation also looks so crisp and smooth, I sure hope it'll stay consistent until the end of the season

EPISODE CONTEXT

After the premiere established Keiji's monster-slaying prowess and the show's gonzo tone, this episode shifts focus to the emotional weight of his solitary, wandering existence across Japan. It transitions the series from pure premise setup into episodic character exploration, deepening Keiji's lone-wolf identity and the philosophical cost of his heroic path. This groundwork positions future episodes to challenge or reinforce that isolation as new threats and encounters accumulate.
