Revue Starlight Episode 12: Revue Starlight

Fitting for an anime themed around the pageantry of theatre, this finale really delivered on everything it promised to be. I also appreciate the fact that the show never failed to embody the hopefulness and optimism, identified through its narrative and characters, until the very end. It's such an easy watch; the visuals are breathtaking, the cast are really likable and fun, and the music is probably the most memorable part of the anime, by large, the best soundtrack that ever graced my ear. What an experience, hoping there is more to come for this story, I can't wait to see what it has in store for us.

I'm so sad that we've reached the end of the show. 🥹 I really wish they gave the other schools from the game a chance to be in a new anime, but I'm still thankful they gave us Revue Starlight. No anime caters to me more than this as someone who loves musical theater and swords. 🤣 Anyway, the finale is mostly about Karen and Hikari, and it was beautiful. I'm not gonna say too much, just please watch it. You won't regret it.

WHAT A GREAT ENDING I WAS GENUINELY SOBBING everything about it was executed so beautifully. T___T i especially loved the detail of them still setting aside a hotpot bowl for karen and hikari :(((

hikari desperately wants to save karen from herself, while karen wants nothing more than to stay by hikari's side. that's what makes this so heartbreaking. they're both acting out of love yet that same love keeps pulling them in opposite directions :((( i love this show so much omg
