the scene in the back of the car was so stressful, because ren was way too close to kyouhei with the driver right there

My heart sank when the credits rolled and I realized they skipped Rin internal monologues because that was the best part of the whole chapter

That transition from the idol world back to the rundown apartment felt so quiet and sad and it really emphasized how much Ren changed Kyohei

Altering the way the confession happened ruins the whole build up and you can tell the writers are trying to cram too much into one episode

Kyohei looks so stressed out with Hina refusing to leave his place and he is clearly still just thinking about Ren

I was yelling at my screen when Hina suggested they get back together, because it is so obvious Kyohei is still hung up on Arisugawa

The anime just turned Eiji into a total klutz and skipped all the best Rin moments just to get to the drama

I spent the whole week thinking about how the kiss would look on screen but the anime staff decided to change it for no reason, and it feels like we are losing all the best character development from the manga while they skip chapters or move the setting of the graduation ceremony around for no logical reason, and now I am worried

Watching Eiji just announce he lost the contest instead of having that dramatic breakdown was a weird choice, and it really took the weight out of his struggle

the way kyouhei had to help ren with that wardrobe malfunction behind the stage was way too much for one episode

Kyohei being free from the assistant work should be a good thing but he looks so lost without Ren and it hurts to watch

It was so awkward watching Hina try to force a spark, and Kyohei clearly just wants to be back on assistant duty helping Ren with her secret

Watching the version on OceanVeil made the bath scenes way more intense and Hina being so aggressive was actually pretty stressful

I caught myself staring at the empty spots in the room alongside Kyohei and it felt like the heart of the show just walked out the door

Wait where did the confession go and why is the pacing so fast and they just skipped straight to the time capsule stuff

Hina trying to corner Kyohei like that made the whole episode feel so tense and he looks so stressed out lately
bulma_brilliance's avatar

Having Rin undo her own hair during the graduation instead of Eiji doing it was a total mistake and it killed the romantic tension
getsuga_tensho_463's avatar

Hina really crossed a line this time by refusing to leave the apartment right after Kyohei was told he is no longer an attendant for Ren. It is so frustrating to see her push for a relationship he clearly is not ready for while he is still distracted by Ren. The drama is building up fast and she is being unfair

Hina trying to force Kyohei back into a relationship while Ren is gone makes me so mad and she needs to leave him alone
sailor_galaxia_390's avatar
sailor_galaxia_390
That pacing felt like a sprint through the source material and skipping the real confession makes the relationship feel shallow

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned as the penultimate episode of an eight-episode series, Episode 7 arrives in the wake of Ren's departure, a turning point that reframes everything that follows. With Hina stepping into the emotional void Ren leaves behind, this episode functions as the series' tension peak before the finale. Episode 8 will need to resolve what Episode 7 carefully, deliberately unsettles.
