To be honest, I am very disappointed with this! I love the light novel very much, and the manga was also superb, but the way they skipped so many things in the anime disappointed me a lot. Story-wise, while it remains great, the small missing details greatly reduce the immersion that should have been there instead. The pacing was also a bit problematic. While I don't hate the super fast progression, with parts of the story skipped, it feels very awkward to watch. Craftsmanship-wise, it's just okay. There are times when the animation is rough, and there are times when the animation is great. The visuals are great though. I prefer the anime style more than the manga. Overall, I'd rate this series a 7/10. If you don't like how they skipped parts of the story, you may choose not to watch it.

Gorey start for the episode. Plenty of time skips to get through the "growing up" parts. Has some questionable "adult" moments, but a refreshing take on isekai. Monsters, an MC that keeps trying to get stronger, and plenty of world building.
