Episode 7 arrives directly after the more mythologically tinged Episode 6, 'Cradle Tree,' which brought Ratio and Jammon into contact with the memory deity Miracle Girl at the Blue Spring. This episode steps back from that larger-world scale and returns to the intimate, neighborhood-level storytelling the series does often. Looking ahead, Episode 8, 'Boat and White Thread,' will pull the pair into another practical teamwork challenge, continuing a stretch of self-contained problem-solving stories.
