What a satisfying ending for this awesome anime! It was very intense from start to finish but the ending tied it up real well. Big props to Akane and the squad for very nice character development. This anime will really make you think but it's still an amazing series nonetheless.

A quiet but heavy closing episode. Akane Tsunemori carries a lot of weight here. Not flashy, more reflective and grounded. Leaves a lingering feeling rather than a big dramatic finish. Good episode to wrap up.

Amazing choreographed fight between Ko & Makishima to start. Akane’s determine transcends most as she decided to tail Makishima’s truck. After seeing my loss of a dear friend and an unconscious Akane, Ko heads towards final stage. Like a sewer rat with no where else to run, Makishima accepts his fate and reminisces on the fun he’s had during his game with Kogami. We next see a reformed Ginoza who has come to terms with not only himself but his relationship with his father. Series concludes in a beautiful way as Akane is now where Ginoza was as she preps her trainee for her first mission

That’s a really good way to wrap up the whole season!! The pace and vibe was ao tense all throughout the episode and super beautiful animation for the background settings!! The ending was a bit of a bittersweet moment in my opinion, but it definitely sets up the track for future seasons!! And that parallel with the first episode was CRAZY!! Jaw definitely dropped during that scene HAHA

Final episode wraps things up nicely no spoilers but it's literally the perfect ending! It wraps up so good but leaves you wanting season 2 immediately Haha. Akane's character development is 10/10! Overall really solid anime hahahaha 👍

HOLY ENDINGGGG!!! A satisfying conclusion i would say, staying true to the anime's themes. It does not have non stop action but it focuses on wrapping the ideals of characters. Tone is reflective and calm and chilling. Great ending, leaves you thinking what happened on the past.

The finale takes a step back and reflects on the world itself. The city continues functioning under Sibyl’s quiet control, people living their daily routines as if nothing has changed. The closing scenes leave a thought about whether true order can exist without sacrifices.

I don't love the resolution. Although, there are roughly 20 other episodes that help justify where we end up, for the most part. I'm grateful for that. It's not exactly on par with Ghost in the Shell's complexity, but there's room for imagination.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As episode 22 of 22, 'Perfect World' is the definitive conclusion to the season-long conflict between the Sibyl System's enforced order and Makishima's anarchic challenge to it, directly following the escalated stakes of 'Blood-Stained Reward.' Every philosophical thread and character arc — Akane's evolution as an Inspector, Kogami's descent toward vigilantism, Makishima's ideological crusade — converges here for resolution. The episode also serves as the bridge point into Psycho-Pass 2, establishing the new status quo that will define the sequel's direction.
