I really liked how this episode captured the feeling of living alone for the first time. The scenes in the apartment felt cozy, and the chemistry between the characters was surprisingly sweet for this genre. It made me want to go back and play the original visual novel just to see more of these interactions, and the art was very consistent too.

seeing them get close after all that build up was such a win for the main guy

the way the romance builds up in this volume feels way more natural than the first one

my heart actually melted when he finally found someone to spend time with in that tiny apartment

that aunt really has no filter and i love how she just calls him out like that to get the story moving

Watching Suzuka try to keep her composure as a waitress while dealing with her feelings for the younger guy is the best part of the whole restaurant scene

The way the younger colleague gets closer to Suzuka at the restaurant is really charming and the animation during their scenes was surprisingly high quality for 2017

Honami going over to his apartment was a nice change of pace, and the character designs for both girls in this volume are very clean.

Honami Himekawa is one of the better written characters in this series for me, and her visiting her boyfriend feels like a real relationship step. Even though it is a short episode, it did not feel rushed at all. The transition to the Suzuka story was a bit sudden, but she ended up being just as likable as Honami.

Spending quality time alone with her boyfriend was worth the wait for Honami and the pacing felt just right for a short story

Suzuka acting all professional at work and then losing her cool around that younger guy is the kind of stuff that makes this volume worth watching

Suzuka is such a top tier character and the way she interacts with her younger coworker at the shop is the main reason I enjoyed this volume

Honami visiting her boyfriend at his place felt way more wholesome than I expected for this kind of show and the art style really holds up well

I thought the waitressing outfit for Suzuka looked great and her personality is a highlight of these two stories because she feels very grounded

I think Suzuka is easily the best girl of this volume and seeing her get flustered with the younger guy was actually pretty cute

the voice acting for the main girl felt really stiff during the climax and it completely ruined the mood

The character designs are so clean, especially when the sun sets and they finally get some privacy.

the transition from the aunt talking to him to the actual date felt way too fast and it barely gave the romance time to breathe

i actually like that they kept the sweet conversation before getting into the spicy stuff and it made the whole encounter feel more earned

seeing the girl in motion was worth the wait and the studio really nailed the lighting during the park scene

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1 established the protagonist's romantic encounters and set the emotional groundwork for the series' central relationships. This second and final episode closes out those threads, bringing the intimate dynamics introduced earlier to their natural conclusion. As the OVA's finale, there is no next episode — this is the definitive endpoint of the series.
