kazushi is such a lucky guy but that one scene with the laundry made me laugh and the chemistry between the three of them is what makes this series work

the way Kotone just watches them is kind of wild, but you can tell she wanted to be involved the whole time and the ending was basically what everyone wanted

I think the confession finally happening made the episode because it felt like they were building up to it for the whole season and the visuals stayed really consistent

it was sweet seeing ayane care about kazushi after all those years and the bedroom scene was definitely a step up from last week

I actually didn't expect the emotional talk between Kazushi and Ayane to feel that real and it makes the whole thing way better when there is some actual weight behind what they are doing in that room plus the animation during the more intense parts of the episode was really smooth and looked way better than I thought it would for this show

Kotone deserves a guy who puts her first and Kazushi is definitely not that guy if he is daydreaming about her sister during their private time

I was shocked that Kotone just gave up on being the main girl so fast and it makes me wonder if she even thinks she can compete with Ayane

My heart actually broke a little bit for Kotone during this one, because her saying she is happy being the second choice is just so painful to hear. I really wish she would realize she is worth more than that, especially since Kazushi was still thinking about her sister the whole time they were together in that classroom. It is getting messy

sisters like Ayane and Kotone should really just talk to each other about what is happening with Kazushi, but I guess they are too close to risk a fight

that classroom scene by the window was extremely bold and this show just keeps finding more public places for them to get caught in

Kazushi thinking about Ayane while he is literally with Kotone in the classroom was so cold and Kotone needs to have more respect for herself

I felt terrible for Kotone when she admitted she was okay being number two and then Kazushi starts thinking about Ayane while they are right there against the window

Kotone saying she is fine being second favorite was actually so sad because she deserves better than Kazushi and his wandering mind while they are in that classroom

it is actually hilarious how neither sister will just talk to the other about Kazushi even though they both know exactly what is going on at this point

those two keep doing this stuff in public places like a classroom and that window scene was way more daring than the locker

The way the music shifted during that talk in the bedroom made the whole scene feel serious and it actually made the romance part feel real

My perspective on these characters changed because I usually just watch this for the comedy and the visuals but Kotone being so open about her feelings really shifted the dynamic between the three of them. It felt like they finally moved past the childhood friend trope and addressed the actual tension while they were just sitting there together on the bed.

Ayane looked like she was about to lose it and seeing her try to keep her cool while those feelings were coming out was the highlight

I thought this would be another bath scene but that confession from Kotone caught me off guard and felt way more personal than the usual fanservice

It is kind of funny how the pudding thing is still a thing, but the way they handled the confession felt surprisingly grounded for this genre

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 5, 'Two Excited People in Hiding,' where desires and tensions among the trio peaked in close quarters, Episode 6 marks a turning point where feelings are finally spoken rather than just acted upon. At six of eight episodes, the series is entering its emotional endgame — this episode lays the interpersonal groundwork that Episode 7, 'Under an Apron-wearing Temptation,' will continue to build on as the story moves toward its conclusion.
