seeing all the red tape and money talk for the fifteen year lie movie was a lot but it makes the industry feel so much more grounded and gritty

Aqua, I just don't understand how much more Akane can take before she breaks, you know? It's getting so incredibly frustrating for me to watch you push her away like this, even though I logically understand it's for your revenge; I just want you to find some peace and genuine happiness already.

Movie funding talk is actually so interesting and it makes the 15 year lie project feel way more real plus seeing Gotanda and Kaburagi work together was a highlight

Kana absolutely crushed that scene and Aqua setting it all up just to show everyone what she can really do was such a smart play she deserves that lead role

They really skipped over some of the best Akane moments from the manga and it feels like she is getting sidelined just when the casting battle for Ai is heating up

Ruby at the end with those dark eyes and that smile was terrifying and it really hit me how much she has changed since the start of the season

Aqua brushing off Akane like that honestly had me cringing, because while I get his revenge plot is intense, his coldness just makes it so hard to still root for him. I'm starting to think he's losing himself completely in this dark plan, and it's making me wonder if his revenge will even be worth the person he's becoming. This whole episode felt like the air before a big thunderclap, with everything building up for something massive.

Watching Ruby prepare for that audition with the liar theme is going to be intense since she has been living a lie for so long and Akane is definitely sweating right now

The whole breakdown of how movie funding works was actually pretty interesting and it makes the stakes for this 15 year lie project feel real even if the episode was kind of slow

I hate how Aqua said he is just using Kana because she is convenient and my heart actually hurts for her right now because she deserves way better than being a tool for his revenge

Knowing Ai left specific video messages for them to see at fifteen is such a huge reveal and you have to wonder if she knew exactly what was going to happen to her

It’s cool to see a show actually explain the committee method and the money side of things, because it makes the struggle to get Ai's story told feel grounded instead of just some magical project

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 9 of 11, this is the direct emotional fallout from the desperate countermeasures Aqua executed in "Plan," functioning as the true climax of the scandal arc that has defined much of the season's tension. While it resolves the interpersonal crisis at its most raw and painful point, it simultaneously pivots toward the movie production arc, positioning the final two episodes to launch an entirely new trajectory. This is the hinge point where Season 3 transitions from reactive damage control to calculated, forward-looking ambition.
