OL and her boyfriend being a total mess made me laugh more than anything else in the finale, and Ebichu really deserved a better master but the comedy stays gold and that drama is just classic.

Witnessing the legendary crying hamster moment in its original context made me laugh so hard because it really captures the spirit of this show. Ebichu is just trying her best while the adults around her are total messes. It does not even feel like a finale since nothing gets resolved but that fits the ridiculous tone of the series perfectly

The way Ebichu was crying with that wooden bucket is going to be stuck in everyone's head forever. This finale did not try to be serious and it worked because the adult jokes were top tier

This show just ends with everyone drinking and yelling at each other and it is exactly how it should be. No big dramatic finale just pure chaos for that little hamster

I finally saw the actual episode where the crying hamster meme comes from, and it is even funnier than I expected. That little bucket scene is just perfect for how this series ends.

Seeing the origin of the crying hamster meme was so strange because the context is way more adult than the gif suggests and the way she holds that tiny bucket while sobbing is just the best image to end the series on and it really captures the whole vibe of Ebichu always trying her best but failing miserably

Every time that scene with the wooden bucket plays it is going to be stuck in the viewer's head, mostly because Ebichu looks so genuinely devastated about nothing

This finale didn't even try to have a plot and just focused on more of the same drinking gags so it felt like just another episode

It made me crack up when Ebichu lost it over the drinking and started sobbing while holding that bucket

My eyes were watering from laughing so hard when Ebichu started crying with that bucket because the meme makes so much more sense now

How funny is it that this cute looking hamster show is actually just about a bunch of adults getting drunk and making bad life choices

The show just ending with them drinking and Ebichu getting yelled at again feels right, especially with how much of a mess the boyfriend is

That little wooden bucket and the messy crying face really summed up the whole series and it was great that they didn't try to make it serious

Ebichu drinking and getting into trouble one last time is the only way a show this weird should have ended

Watching the source of that crying hamster meme after seeing all the adult jokes is such a weird experience and the owner still treats her so bad

I forgot this was the last episode because it feels like just another day, but seeing that crying face in context feels so much heavier after all the abuse she takes

That bucket scene is the saddest thing and it makes the whole show worth it even if the boyfriend is still a total creep

You expect a big ending for a finale but they just gave us another day of Ebichu getting yelled at and her owner being messy

My heart broke when Ebichu started crying with that little bucket and I finally realized where that meme came from

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following directly after the provocatively titled Episode 23, this finale closes out the full 24-episode run without attempting a dramatic resolution — consistent with a series that has always prioritized comedic escalation over narrative closure. As the last episode of the season, it serves as a final showcase of the core dynamic between Kaishounachi, Ebichu, and the Office Lady rather than a setup for anything beyond. There is no next episode; this is the curtain call.
