I really enjoyed seeing how Hawkins actually fights because his fruit is so unique, but the pacing for every single card draw felt a bit much. Zoro and Luffy just standing there while the straw man slowly comes to life was kind of frustrating to watch even if the animation and the music for that scene were actually top notch

I was honestly a bit frustrated with how slow everything moved today, but seeing the giant straw monster almost made up for it. The sound design for that thing was genuinely creepy, and I can't get over how Luffy refuses to actually swing the Nidai Kitetsu properly. Poor Zoro looked so stressed out watching his captain disrespect such a famous blade like that.
