For a moment, I thought Wapol actually fell for Nami’s lies, LOL! This is such comedy gold. To say, the highlight of this episode is Chopper’s unwavering trust in Luffy. That said, I’m very satisfied with how things ended.

A symbolic and emotional climax where ideals take center stage. The payoff feels powerful and earned.

Luffy sent Wapol flying so far and it felt so good to see that jerk get what he deserved after all that trash he talked about the doctor's flag

Luffy sent Wapol flying so far and the kingdom is finally free from that jerk and his weird metal eating powers for good now

Wapol eating himself to get thin was the weirdest thing in the episode but at least he is gone now so the people of Drum Kingdom can finally start over with Dalton leading them

The way Luffy just refused to hear any of Chopper's excuses about being a monster or a reindeer really got to me, and seeing Kureha watch them leave with that little smile made the whole arc feel complete and I really loved that final shot of them chasing each other around the snow because it felt like a real family starting out together

Chopper crying while he tried to make excuses for why he could not leave the island was so touching and it is amazing to see the doctor joining the crew

That Gomu Gomu no Bazooka felt a bit abrupt after all the build up but seeing Wapol finally get what he deserved was still a great conclusion to the fight for the kingdom

The visual of the cherry blossom flag waving in the wind while Luffy stood his ground hit me hard and it was a fitting tribute to the doctor after everything that happened to Dalton

Nami stealing that armory key right from under Wapol's nose was a classic move and seeing him panic while she taunted him from the balcony was such a great way to start the fight

Watching Dalton break down in tears at the sight of Hiriluk's flag still flying was a powerful moment, and it really shows how much that symbol means to the people who suffered under Wapol

The look on Wapol's face when his huge cannon failed because some birds built a nest in it was hilarious and it felt like the perfect way to embarrass such a pathetic king before the end

It made me so happy when Luffy just started yelling at Chopper to shut up because seeing that little reindeer finally join the crew was the best way to end the snowy journey

Wapol flying through the castle wall and disappearing into the sky felt so good because that guy was a total creep and Luffy finally launching him off the island was a great relief

The ending where Luffy is chasing Chopper around the castle is so wholesome and you can tell how much it means to Chopper to finally be accepted by the crew

I felt my heart get so full when Dalton realized he finally had hope because Luffy did not even care about those weird transformations and just focused on the flag

Nami stealing the key right from Wapol was a very clever move and she did it while he was busy boasting so he could not get into the royal armory

I honestly think this is the best arc so far because of how much heart it has. Chopper crying as he ran toward the ship hit me so hard and Kureha acting tough while setting off the pink snow was perfect. Seeing the flag fly after Wapol got blasted really made the doctor's dream feel real and I'm glad Chopper has friends now.

The bazooka shot at the end was massive and seeing Wapol disappear into the clouds was the best way to end the tyranny so the people can finally breathe again

Dalton crying when he saw the flag was a heavy moment, especially after those flashbacks of how much everyone suffered under Wapol. Luffy showed he actually cares about the dreams of this country by keeping that flag standing.

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode marks the climactic peak of the Drum Island arc, following episode 88's showcase of Chopper's transformations and combat potential, which set the stage for these decisive confrontations against Wapol. It serves as the arc's emotional and narrative crescendo, resolving the kingdom's central conflict and paving the way for the crew's transition toward the Alabasta arc, One Piece's next major saga.
