I can't believe there is a hidden person above the Five Elders and I'm losing my mind because they literally bowed to them like they were nothing in that throne room

The way that mysterious hooded figure just *appeared* holding all those new bounties, it really sent shivers down my spine. And seeing the World Government so clearly terrified of that massive hat, I just know something huge is about to drop, like this is even bigger than what we've seen with the Emperors.

Doflamingo sitting in a cell and laughing about assassins coming for him is such a mood because he definitely knows something about that basement that we dont

Orlumbus and sai leaving their homes for the grand fleet was such a strong moment These guys are risking their entire lives just to stand by luffy The reverie is getting dangerous and the alliances actually matter

I was staring at my screen for like five minutes after that ending and seeing that giant frozen hat actually felt creepy especially with that figure holding Luffy's bounty poster

The title literally gave away the biggest twist of the episode before it even started but the actual reveal of the hat and that mystery person still had a really creepy vibe

tengu_tempest_61
I spent the whole time waiting for something big and that ending really delivered because that giant straw hat is a total game changer. Seeing all of luffys old friends like vivi and shirahoshi finally meeting up and talking about him made me feel so nostalgic, even if the show keeps dragging things out with those long flashback scenes tonight.

My mind is racing after seeing that shadowy person walking into the freezing vault. That massive straw hat in the dark is such a wild mystery, and I can't stop thinking about it.

Wapol is still just as annoying as ever and seeing him mess with vivi made me want luffy to punch him again He is still just that same pathetic guy from drum island Hopefully someone puts him down

Seeing that huge straw hat in the freezer changed everything It is way bigger than luffys hat and the hooded figure felt so creepy I need to know why the government is hiding it in mary geoise

My brain is actually melting trying to figure out why there is a giant hat in the freezer and what it has to do with Joy Boy

You see Doflamingo laughing in his cell about assassins coming for him and it makes Mary Geoise feel way more dangerous than just a fancy meeting spot for kings

I honestly didn't think we would get such a massive reveal this early in the arc, especially with how much they were dragging things out with the old clips. Seeing that giant straw hat in the freezer really changed everything for me and I need to know why Imu was holding a picture of Vivi specifically. It was such a strange moment.

The ending of this episode really left me with so many questions because that massive straw hat being kept in a freezer is the weirdest thing I have seen in this show, and I kept thinking about how it relates to Roger and Shanks and why that shadowy person is looking at Luffy's poster while standing in front of it

Princesses from all over the world coming together to talk about how Luffy saved them was the best thing ever and it was so sweet seeing them become friends

Whoa, that tall shadowy figure holding the wanted posters really threw me for a loop; my brain instantly went into overdrive trying to guess if it's someone I should recognize or a totally new enigma. The idea that there's a puppet master behind the World Government, above even the Gorosei, genuinely makes me wonder how deep this conspiracy goes and what else we don't know.

The flashbacks are definitely starting to get annoying but seeing Vivi and Shirahoshi finally meeting and bonding over Luffy made the slow parts worth it

Vivi asking about Chopper was the only good part of that conversation before Wapol had to open his big mouth and ruin the reunion for everyone else

The flashbacks are really starting to test my patience I just wanted to see more of the royalty meeting up instead of old stuff Wapol being a jerk to vivi was the only new thing for a while

The pacing is really rough because they keep cutting to scenes we have seen a million times before, but that ending shot in the cold room made the wait almost worth it.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 885 sits in the heart of the Reverie Arc, following Episode 884's focus on Vivi and Rebecca expressing gratitude toward Luffy and deepening the emotional groundwork of this politically charged arc. This episode expands on those reflections while planting a massive lore seed — the giant straw hat — that fuels speculation heading into subsequent episodes exploring the world government's hidden secrets and the escalating political tensions at the Reverie.
