Belo Betty is terrifying and her flag fruit turning those villagers into a mob so fast was scary

the art was great, but cutting back to luffy on the ship felt like a waste of time when the revolutionaries were finally doing something interesting on Lulusia

Belo Betty looks like she walked off a steampunk parody set but her fruit power is actually scary if you think about how it could be used by a dictator

seeing them let the townspeople finish the fight instead of just doing it for them shows you how the revolutionaries actually operate and it makes them way cooler than the marines

Okay, but Lindbergh was such a little firecracker, his inventions and quick wit totally made me grin. When those four commanders finally appeared together though, I swear my jaw dropped a bit; it made me realize just how much trouble the World Government is actually in with these guys.

The animation for the Pump-Pump fruit looked really good and it was nice to see the Revolutionary Army actually living up to their name by helping people find their own courage

Pacing felt really good this time because focusing on the commanders and Sabo's declaration made the world feel massive and dangerous for the World Government

morley crawling out of the ground and the reveal that he basically built level five point five in impel down is the kind of lore drop that makes the world feel massive

why did they make peachbeard so obsessed with milk in this episode because it turned a cool introduction for the commanders into a weird comedy sketch and he looked like a total loser

Morley, that giant okama, actually having the personality of a shy teenage girl absolutely made my day; I swear, only this show can come up with such wonderfully weird characters. His pushing power was also incredibly creative, and I love how unexpected it was for someone his size!

Belo Betty is such a powerhouse and that pump pump fruit makes her a terrifyingly good leader for the revolutionaries to me

Did anyone else just absolutely lose it when Karasu totally botched his dramatic entrance by forgetting the loudspeaker? I'm telling you, that little hiccup made him instantly more hilarious and makes me wonder if he's always this clumsy when trying to look cool.

Morley crawling out of the ground was such a strange sight and then you see Lindbergh just freezing everyone and it makes you realize how strong the Revolutionary Army leaders actually are

I can't get over how cool Sabo was this episode, especially his reaction to Luffy's crazy bounty and how he just ignored the guys trying to talk to him. Seeing the four commanders in action for the first time was such a huge moment and Lindbergh's freezing weapon was a nice touch but Belo Betty is the one that really stole the show.

i really liked the animation on those crows when karasu showed up and his power looks way more interesting than i expected from the manga panels

Sabo taking charge and showing off the strength of his captains makes the scale of the upcoming war feel so much bigger and more real to me

Angry villagers picking up sticks to beat back the pirates was special, and Belo Betty using her powers to give them that crazy boost in strength really saved Lulusia.

Belo Betty really knows how to inspire, huh? I was genuinely cheering when those townspeople finally found their backbone and fought back; it’s a much-needed victory against the kind of neglect the World Government constantly dishes out.

I seriously love Belo Betty and her fruit ability is so perfect for the army since it makes the regular citizens stand up for themselves instead of just waiting for a hero

Lindbergh being a mink with all those gadgets is a great touch and it makes the Revolutionary Army feel like such a diverse group of fighters

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off Episode 879's focus on the Straw Hats' growing alliance, this episode pivots hard to the Revolutionary Army's side of the board, broadening the narrative scope considerably. It functions as critical setup for the Reverie arc, establishing the key players who will challenge the World Nobles and the political order. The groundwork laid here — introducing each captain's personality and combat style — pays forward into the escalating tensions that define the episodes ahead.
