Pudding's true colors just gut-punched me; I really fell for her sweet act. When she whispered that awful secret to Luffy, my heart just sank thinking about poor Sanji, he really doesn't deserve this.

Pedro blowing things up was a decent distraction but the animation on some of these scenes still feels a bit shaky and inconsistent compared to the hype

Brook standing his ground against Big Mom is a huge move, especially since the tension in the castle is getting so thick with Pedro running around and causing explosions everywhere

I actually suspected Pudding was hiding something, but seeing her drop the mask while Luffy and Nami were stuck in that book prison was still such a gut punch. It is terrifying how scary Big Mom feels, and Brook standing up to her like a total boss makes me so excited after she tried to corner him. Sanji is in serious trouble.

Pudding’s whole act with those fake tears felt like such a betrayal, I truly didn't expect her to be playing them all like that. Seeing Luffy in that cage, screaming after everything they've been through, really got to me; you just know he's thinking about Sanji.

Luffy looks so stunned in the library prison after Pudding says whatever she said and his struggle to break out of the books felt so desperate

The way Pudding dropped her act in front of Nami and Luffy gave me actual chills and my heart hurts for Sanji because he has no idea what is coming

I had some issues with the slower parts of the episode, but seeing Brook face down Big Mom in that treasure room made up for it completely. That secret Pudding told Luffy and Nami has me so stressed out, because their reactions were way too intense for a normal goodbye and now Reiju is bleeding out in a hallway somewhere.

The sight of Reiju all bloody and limping at the end is a massive shock, especially since we have no idea who actually shot her in the middle of the castle.

Luffy and Nami looked so horrified when she whispered that secret in the cell and now the wedding feels like a death trap

I am still thinking about Brook standing his ground against Big Mom in that treasure room and seeing him look her in the eye like that was incredible

The way Luffy is willing to tear his limbs off just to escape that cell is the most desperate thing he has done in a long time and it is scary

Brook is out here fighting a literal Yonko solo and he looks so cool standing his ground even though Big Mom is way more powerful than a skeleton

It was actually scary seeing Reiju all beat up and covered in blood, especially since we have no idea who could have even hurt her like that

Whoa, that Pedro flashback with Tamago was way more intense than I expected, showing how far back their rivalry goes. Losing an eye each makes Pedro's current desperation feel so much heavier to me, knowing he's been through this kind of brutality before.

When Pudding wiped Reiju's memory right after revealing her true, horrific wedding plan, I felt so sick for Sanji. He just looked utterly defeated, like any last shred of hope he had for his future was completely shattered by her cold manipulation.

Brook facing down a literal Yonko by himself is legendary even if the animation felt a bit stiff in some parts of the library fight

I felt so betrayed when Pudding showed that side of herself, and I really hope Sanji finds out before it is too late for him

That scene where Pudding whispers her plan to Luffy and Nami was so evil and seeing them react like that made my skin crawl
mary_hunt's avatar

Pudding revealing how cruel she actually is was absolutely sickening, and the memory wipe felt like such a betrayal of his trust. It was crushing to see him standing there in the rain with that dead look in his eyes because he really thought he found someone who cared but it was all just a sick game to her and she doesn't deserve him

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off Episode 814's momentum, where Brook and Pedro launched their daring infiltration into Big Mom's stronghold, Episode 815 deepens both the mission's stakes and Pudding's complicated role within the arc. It functions as a critical emotional pivot point, establishing character motivations that will fuel the escalating confrontations ahead. The groundwork laid here — particularly Pudding's resolve and the crew's parallel movements — becomes essential scaffolding for the high-intensity sequences building in the episodes to follow.
