I actually liked the extra scenes with Zoro and Law acting like nerds over the ninja stuff, even if people say it was filler it made the whole hidden cave vibe better

I still can't get over the Minks staying loyal and protecting Raizo through all that pain and it made me tear up seeing Luffy and the others finally meet him in that hidden room

Zoro and Law joining in on the ninja hype was a nice break from the heavy stuff and it makes the crew feel more human when they get excited over dumb things like that

When that massive red Road Poneglyph popped up in the whale tree, my jaw absolutely dropped! I'm so hyped now because it really feels like the Straw Hats are finally getting closer to actually finding the One Piece, and I'm practically vibrating with anticipation.

The pacing felt a bit sluggish with the added scenes, but the emotional payoff when Luffy finally met Raizo made the wait worth it for the fans

The reveal of that red stone actually feels like the end of the series is finally in sight and seeing Robin look at a Road Poneglyph gives off actual chills

I felt so bad for the Minks because they went through literal hell just to keep Raizo safe and seeing them all together in that secret room was so heavy but then the show went and made me laugh with the boys losing their minds over a ninja and I really needed that balance after how sad the Zou backstories have been

Raizo coming out of hiding while everyone was crying was such a huge moment and the music made the tragedy of Zou feel so much heavier
darmani's avatar

Raizo being a goofy looking dude instead of a cool ninja was a total bait and switch but the way he handled the requests for techniques was perfect

The minks are the real ones for protecting Raizo through all that torture and seeing him cry over the village was really sad

The pacing felt a bit dragged out with some of the gags but the reveal about Momonosuke being the heir to Wano makes up for the slow parts

The reveal about the Kozuki clan being the ones who actually made the poneglyphs is the kind of massive news that changes everything about how you see the history of the world, and seeing the group huddle around that red stone really makes the search for the one piece feel like it has finally entered the home stretch after all this time

I almost died laughing when Raizo finally showed up because he looks so ridiculous and watching Luffy and the guys geeking out over his fake ninja moves made my day

My heart sank seeing the minks cry over Raizo being safe after everything Jack did to them and it makes their whole sacrifice even more meaningful now

Luffy and Usopp asking for ninja tricks is the best part and Raizo using the scroll to hide was actually impressive

Learning about the four red stones changes everything, and it feels like the hunt for the treasure is actually starting now

Seeing that Red Poneglyph inside the whale tree felt like a huge turning point for the series, and it is wild that they actually have a path to the end now after all these years of just sailing. The Minks and the Samurai have such a deep bond, and finding out Momo is royalty explains their insane loyalty to him clearly.

My brain is still processing the road poneglyphs because having a map to the final island makes the end feel real

I really felt for Raizo when he broke down after seeing the ruins of the city, and it was such a sharp turn from all the goofy ninja stuff they were doing earlier

When that red stone popped up, revealing the path to the One Piece, my jaw dropped; it finally felt like a real, achievable goal after all this time. And seeing Robin effortlessly read those ancient symbols, it just fills me with so much hope for the crew’s grand adventure, I couldn’t help but cheer.

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode follows the dramatic reveal of Raizo's survival among the Mink Tribe, deepening the crew's relationship with their allies on Zou while peeling back layers of mystery surrounding the Kozuki clan. It serves as a critical bridge episode, transitioning from the Mink Tribe's sacrifices and secrets into the larger Poneglyph mythology that will define the crew's next major objectives. The groundwork laid here directly sets up the Kozuki family's ancient connection to the Road Poneglyphs and the roadmap to Raftel.
