I couldn't stop laughing at how ugly that sparrow looked because Kanjuro having a cool power but being a bad artist is the funniest thing this arc has done in weeks

Watching Dellinger just one shot everyone in his way was brutal and it really shows how dangerous the Doflamingo family is even when Luffy is making progress

The anime made the bird look way too cool and it kind of ruined the joke about Kanjuro being a terrible artist

These random street fights with side characters are really starting to slow down the momentum of the main fight

When Kanjuro finally drew that wall, I gotta admit, I was completely blindsided by how utterly bizarre he turned out to be. For all that anticipation, my jaw dropped at his terrible art, and I'm still trying to figure out if he's a genius or just totally unhinged, lol.

Kanjuro is way more laid back than Kinemon and his weird drawing power is going to be hilarious later on

The plot keeps expanding with even more characters when we still have so many fights to finish but at least Kanjuro is funny

I think a devil fruit that depends on the user being a terrible artist is such a funny concept

This episode moved so slow and the joke about Kanjuro being a bad artist got old after the first couple of minutes

When Kanjuro finally conjured that bird, my jaw dropped at how utterly goofy it looked, and watching it flap its little wings, struggling to lift off with everyone crammed on, had me in stitches. Seriously, it’s a miracle they made it anywhere with that thing, but I guess that’s just the Straw Hats for ya – always finding a way, even if it's ridiculous.

A samurai that brings ugly art to life is pretty unique even if his design stands out too much from everyone else

Luffy just ignoring Cavendish while he talks about his fans is hilarious, especially when they are riding through the streets together

Haha, I absolutely cracked up at that doodle bird giving it its all – it totally reminded me of something Luffy would draw! And Kanjuro, man, he's already fitting right in with his weird art style; I can't wait to see what other crazy stuff he'll conjure up for the Straw Hats.

Kinemon finally found his friend and that ink bird is the most terrifying thing in the show so far

Meeting the second samurai is cool, but his design feels a bit out of place even though his ink powers are definitely going to be funny to watch

Kanjuro just chilling there and eating his own drawn food made me laugh so much because it looks so gross

Cavendish actually realizing the game is rigged and that Doflamingo has no intention of letting anyone out of the birdcage alive is a big shift

The Dressrosa arc feels like it might never end and adding Kanjuro into the mix just gives us one more thing to keep track of even if his drawings are funny

His design looks like he walked straight out of an old painting and the sorcery is actually hilarious with how bad he draws everything

I was expecting Kanjuro to be way more serious since he is a samurai, but he is actually such a clown and I love it. His drawing skills are absolute garbage and seeing that struggle bird fly around was the best part of the whole week for me. It is weird how he calls it sorcery instead of a devil fruit, though.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Deep into the Dressrosa arc, this episode arrives after Luffy and his allies have scored key victories against the Donquixote Pirates but still face the gauntlet leading to Doflamingo himself. Kanjuro's introduction expands the samurai subplot and strengthens the growing alliance, adding new tactical options heading into the arc's climactic stretch. The groundwork laid here — both in character bonds and battlefield positioning — directly feeds into the escalating confrontations that define Dressrosa's endgame.
