I cannot believe Usopp actually won by just making a disgusting face after eating that spice, it was so stupid but it saved the entire operation

Doflamingo letting Scarlet die in his arms while he was a toy is just pure evil and it was so hard to watch

When I saw Kyros lose his leg trying to get to King Riku, my jaw dropped. It really hammered home just how loyal he was and the absolute lengths he'd go to protect his king, making him an even bigger hero in my eyes.

Kyros cutting his own leg off to save the king was the craziest thing ever and the way Scarlet died without knowing who he was actually broke me

Rebecca needs to stop crying and actually do something because she is a gladiator but she just stands there while everything goes wrong around her

I think I just witnessed the scariest face in history and watching Sugar pass out because Usopp looked that gross was such a bizarre way for her to lose

Bartolomeo saying his barrier does not work against mean words was hilarious and he is easily the best part of this tournament

Doflamingo really is the worst villain for letting Sugar ruin so many lives and families like this

You have to laugh because everyone thinks Usopp is this brave hero now and it is all because he could not handle a spicy grape

The pacing is still a bit slow, but seeing Kyros try to protect his family was heavy and Rebeccas design is getting a bit distracting though

Kyros has the saddest life in this whole show and watching him lose Scarlet while he was a toy was absolutely brutal

I was so mad when Usopp started running away but that weird screaming face while passing out was basically perfect

Sugar is genuinely terrifying and seeing how her power erased all those memories makes Doflamingo look like such a monster

Kyros's flashback where Scarlet couldn't recognize him, even as she was dying in his toy arms, absolutely broke my heart, I felt so incredibly helpless for him. Then, for the show to immediately cut to Usopp making that wild face to scare Sugar, it threw my emotions into a total tailspin – what a bonkers emotional whiplash that only One Piece could deliver.

Usopp pulling out that tabasco ball was classic, but honestly, I cracked up when his terrified face still ended up saving everyone. It's so typical of him to accidentally come through in the most ridiculous way, making me wonder if he'll ever *intentionally* be the hero.

Imagine being a toy for years and your family finally remembers you exist because of some random sniper. The emotional relief for all those people in the streets is just insane to think about

Poor Kyros, watching Scarlet die without ever knowing he was her husband, just filled me with such a profound sense of injustice. I was absolutely yearning for the toy liberation to happen right then, seeing how much silent suffering he'd endured for years.

Kyros has suffered for so long in that toy body, so seeing the transformation finally happen feels like a massive weight is being lifted from Dressrosa.

It is wild that the most dangerous power in the crew was defeated by a funny face and not a massive punch. Usopp really is a different kind of legend for pulling that off

Doflamingo really thought his plan was perfect but he never expected a guy like Usopp to ruin it all. The look on his face when he realizes he lost is going to be hilarious

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep within the Dressrosa arc, episode 676 follows directly from revelations about Kyros's connection to the royal family, expanding on his backstory and the personal cost of Doflamingo's tyranny. Usopp's hero narrative reaches a critical inflection point here, raising the emotional and physical stakes for the Straw Hats' operation on the island. This episode bridges the mid-arc character groundwork with the escalating confrontations that define Dressrosa's back half.
