This episode is underrated. It shows how strong the Straw Hats’ trust is, and made me think that real life isn’t like that, even with people close to you. It's kinda wild people call it “bad” when it hits this hard.

It hit me hard when Usopp yelled his real name and admitted he was a liar, he finally stopped pretending to be Usoland and decided to fight. He was shaking with fear, and it made the moment feel much more real

Usopp running away while the Tontattas were getting crushed was actually painful to watch. He saw them suffering and still kept sprinting in the other direction like his friends didnt matter

Those Tontattas having total faith in Usopp even while he admitted he was a liar was actually so sad. They really think he is a hero and it was a heavy moment when he finally stopped running

Robin turning into a toy and immediately getting erased from everyone's memories genuinely freaked me out; I couldn't even imagine that happening. For Usopp to then just ditch the dwarves, knowing exactly what happened to her, really made me question what he was thinking, it felt like such a betrayal of his usual, albeit cowardly, self.

Those poor Tontattas, yelling for Usoland while Trebol just crushed them, honestly made my blood run cold, especially seeing Usopp make a break for it. Sure, the toy curse explains why he forgot Enies Lobby, but I can't help but feel frustrated that he's still running from his responsibilities, like he never learned anything.

I felt so weird seeing Usopp forget Robin because of Sugars power. It explains why he is acting like a coward again but seeing him abandon those little guys still made my blood boil

Leo and the others getting beaten up while screaming for their hero was hard to watch. Usopp is the only one who can stop Sugar and his fear is just getting in the way of everything

You really have to feel for those little dwarves getting tortured by Trebol and hearing them chant for Usoland while Usopp was hiding made me so frustrated

This whole episode shows why Usopp is the most relatable straw hat because he is terrified for his life but still ends up coming back even though he is literally crying the whole time

I couldn't stop laughing when Sugar passed out just from seeing Usopp scream and it is so funny that he becomes a legend for such a stupid reason

It is crazy how a total lie about being a legendary hero turned into Usopp actually saving the day by accident and now the dwarves think he is a god

I honestly wanted to punch the screen when Usopp started running and left those poor dwarves to get crushed by Trebol but that face he made to scare Sugar was actually hilarious

When Usopp bit into that spicy grape, I genuinely gasped at how awful his face was, like, whoa, that was a truly cursed expression. But then it actually worked to knock out Sugar, and I couldn't help but laugh at the sheer absurdity of it all.

The pacing in the first half felt like it was dragging forever but the ending where he finally stands his ground against Sugar and Trebol was a huge relief

Did Usopp really just leave the Tontattas like that? I was so incredibly disappointed to see him abandon them when they had put all their faith in him, and it felt like his stories finally caught up to him in the absolute worst moment.

The way the anime dragged out Usopp running away made it so much harder to watch than the manga version. I was getting really annoyed at him for abandoning the little guys but the payoff with Sugar fainting because he looked so hideous was worth the wait. It is just typical for him to win by being a complete mess

Trebol is such a gross villain, and seeing Usopp finally stop being a coward to save the dwarves was exactly what the doctor ordered after all that running around

The mission felt completely ruined as soon as Sugar touched Robin and she just vanished from everyone's thoughts

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned deep in the Dressrosa arc, Episode 674 follows the Tontatta dwarves' rebellion hitting serious resistance in Episode 673, shifting focus to Usopp's personal reckoning with the consequences of his deception. It bridges directly into Episode 675, which pivots to the Kyros and King Riku backstory, expanding the emotional and political stakes of the Dressrosa conflict. This stretch of episodes is building the emotional foundation that the arc's climactic battles will draw from.
