I'm also really curious about his eye, I mean, why won't anyone just tell us what happened after the timeskip? Meanwhile, Sugar's creepiness is doing a fantastic job of keeping the tension high for me, especially with Usopp on the run.

I know a lot of people get annoyed when Usopp acts like a coward, but his fear makes the moments when he finally steps up feel much more earned in the end. It was hard to watch him hesitate while the Tontattas were getting wrecked by Trebol, but his character has always been about overcoming that intense gut-level terror to help his friends
