Franky doing the suuuuuper pose with his guitar was a great callback and I missed that kind of energy during the more serious parts of this arc

Sugar turning Cavendish into a toy felt pretty dark, and while it was a shock, the pacing of the Dressrosa plot is starting to drag for me

Animation for Pica rising out of the castle was so fluid and strange and his massive size makes you wonder how Luffy even takes him down

Pica merging with the stone wall like that was genuinely creepy and those dead eyes make him look way more intimidating than the other executives

Robin and Usopp working with those tiny dwarves to sneak in a spicy grape is the kind of ridiculous strategy that only works in this show and I hope they actually knock her out

You have this huge threat emerging from the ground, yet the show still finds a way to make you laugh with Franky and his ridiculous antics

That stone guy has the most disturbing eyes but the squeaky voice is such a great gag and it makes him way more memorable than a normal villain

I died laughing when Pica actually spoke because his voice is so tiny and squeaky for a huge stone giant and it made that whole scary intro feel totally ridiculous

Pica emerging from the stone walls is such a crazy sight and he makes the whole castle feel like a living monster. Luffy hitting him with gear second was cool but seeing him just reform immediately is scary

My mind is completely spinning because of Pica and the scale of that guy is just ridiculous and Luffy hitting him with a Gatling only for him to reform was demoralizing

The Tontatta plan with that super spicy grape sounds like a total Usopp move but it seems like the only way to actually take Sugar down without getting touched

My brain short-circuited when those castle walls just *became* a giant stone face, seriously! I mean, I knew Doflamingo's top guys were strong, but that kind of power just shows they're on a whole other level of twisted compared to the rest of his crew.

Sugar having a hidden contract rule that stops the toys from fighting back is so cheap and unfair and it makes her way more dangerous than any of the fighters in the coliseum

I still cannot stop laughing about Pica and that voice coming out of a giant stone monster is the funniest thing ever and seeing Luffy lose his mind over it was so good

Cavendish getting turned into a toy was such a shock and the fact that he just lost his whole identity in a second is brutal. Sugar is definitely the most dangerous person in the basement

The scale of Pica's power is huge and seeing his face appear in the stone of the castle walls was a massive highlight because it makes the palace feel alive

I was really feeling the tension when Pica showed up because that stone ability is such a nightmare to deal with inside a building, but then the episode kept cutting away to Franky and the Tontattas. It killed the momentum for me, even though seeing Cavendish get turned into a toy was a crazy twist that makes Sugar look terrifying

I still cannot get over how huge Pica actually is and the way he just melted into the stone walls made my skin crawl

Sugar touched Cavendish and he just vanished from everyone's memories which is the most messed up thing in this arc so far. That hobby hobby fruit is way too dangerous for a kid

It was honestly hard to watch Cavendish get turned into a little toy horse, and knowing he has to obey the family now makes Sugar the scariest person on the island

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the colosseum's final round kicking into gear, this episode pivots to the castle and underground operations, widening the scope of the Dressrosa arc's endgame. It bridges the early infiltration phase and the full-scale offensive against Doflamingo's top officers, establishing Pica as a major obstacle. The groundwork laid here directly fuels the momentum of the upcoming episodes where the Straw Hats' coordinated assault intensifies.
