Luffy riding that giant bull around the coliseum is such a fun image and using his conquerors haki to make it happen shows how much he has grown since the timeskip

I still cannot believe Fujitora really dropped a whole meteor on them just to test the waters and Law looked so stressed out by the absolute scale of that attack

Knowing Doflamingo has Celestial Dragon blood explains so much about his ego and the way he talks down to everyone on the island

It shocked me how Fujitora just sat there and pulled a rock from space to test Doflamingo and Law like they were just any other pirates

The sound of the gravity shift when Fujitora called down that meteor was intense and he did it so casually while standing between Law and Doflamingo

Some of the art looked a bit wonky during the colosseum scenes, but Fujitora bringing down a meteor to test everyone was a great way to show his power

When Luffy somehow tamed that bull and it became his goofy sidekick right there in the brawl, I was genuinely surprised by how quickly the tension just evaporated. It’s such a classic Luffy move to turn a scary situation into something so ridiculously fun, and honestly, it made me grin from ear to ear.

I honestly didn't think Noland would ever be relevant again, but the way the Tontatta dwarves look at Usopp like he's a god is hilarious. That meteorite scene with Fujitora was such a massive power move though, and seeing Law lose his cool because of Doflamingo's fake resignation makes this whole situation feel like a total disaster for the Straw Hats.

The animation for the meteor strike looked great and the sound design made it feel heavy but the show is really dragging its feet with the side characters in this arc

I actually laughed out loud when the bull got tamed by Luffy's haki, and seeing its face go from scary to totally goofy made that whole colosseum scene for me

I was yelling when that meteor came out of nowhere because Fujitora is actually terrifying. I wonder how Law even deals with someone who can just drop space rocks on his head

Seeing Law realize that Doflamingo played the entire world government just to trap him was brutal and then Fujitora had to go and drop a literal star on their heads too

Fujitora finally showing what he can do was worth the wait and that meteorite scene is easily one of the coolest things the Navy has ever done. He just pulled it out of nowhere while everyone else was talking and it felt so sudden. It is going to be a nightmare for Usopp now that he is actually Usoland to all those dwarves though
bakugo_blast_122's avatar
bakugo_blast_122
Those little dwarves are so gullible it actually hurts to watch, especially since Usopp is definitely not prepared to lead a whole army against Doflamingo

Usopp lying his way into becoming a legendary hero for those tiny dwarves is the most Usopp thing to ever happen and seeing Noland mentioned again is a cool connection

Law admitting he is allied with Luffy just to mess with Doflamingo was a bold move, but finding out the resignation was a lie really changes everything
melty_monarch's avatar

Jumping back to the bull backstory so much felt a bit slow to me and it killed the momentum of the big fight
darmani's avatar

Gosh, that bull flashback dragged on for me, like, for real. But then Luffy just casually uses Haki to tame it, and I was like, "Yeah, that's my captain!" Still, I'm getting a little antsy with how slow things are feeling lately.

I am still stunned after seeing Fujitora just casually drop a whole meteorite on Law and Doflamingo and his theme music made that scene feel even scarier

Doflamingo and Law both looked so shocked when that meteorite hit the ground and Fujitora just stood there looking completely bored by his own strength

EPISODE CONTEXT

Deep in the Dressrosa arc, this episode follows Doflamingo's significant power play and raises the stakes by fully unleashing Fujitora's capabilities, reinforcing that the Straw Hats are caught between multiple overwhelming forces. It serves as a critical escalation point, layering new threats onto an already volatile situation and setting the stage for the larger confrontations that define Dressrosa's back half.
