A strong return to main story momentum with high energy and scale. The transition into the Grand Line feels impactful.

Sicko guy still not giving up? What is he doing? Luffy fulfilling his promise to Grandpa Ryu means he means what he promised. And finally, we're going back on the main story. They are finally entering the Grand line. I'm so excited and it's giving me goosebumps.

And here we have it, lads—the wrap-up of the Warship Island Arc! I love Apis’ determination and her dedication to the dragons. And finally, a glimpse of the Grand Line! This may be a filler arc, but it’s still enjoyable to watch. You can skip this entirely, though.

I still feel so emotional seeing Saul teach Robin how to laugh because that "Dereshishishi" is the saddest thing ever, and then seeing him frozen just breaks me

It was cool to see Oimo and Kashi again and remember how Sogeking saved them from the lies of the World Government even if we just finished that long warship island filler

I always forget how much the giants on Little Garden shaped Usopp and his dream of becoming a brave warrior

Seeing Dorry and Brogy return to destroy the Kid Pirates was so unexpected and that Sovereignty attack is way more powerful than it used to be

Gear 5 Luffy bouncing around in the preview while Vegapunk prepares to tell the truth to the whole world has me so excited for what happens next

The way those two gatekeepers at Enies Lobby realized they were being lied to for fifty years was such a relief because they finally got to fight for the right side

Big Mom being so terrified of Elbaf that she tried to force a marriage just proves that the giant kingdom is on a completely different level than the rest of the world

I really needed this recap because it's been so long since Little Garden and seeing Dorry and Brogy together again just made me feel so nostalgic. The way they treated Luffy and the others back then was so wholesome and knowing they are finally coming to help him at Egghead after all these years feels like everything is coming full circle.

Watching Hajrudin take down that heavy guy in the colosseum despite his bones literally snapping was such a brutal reminder of Elbaf warrior pride

You forget how long those two giants were fighting on Little Garden until you see them standing there and stopping that massive goldfish with one hit

My heart breaks every time I have to watch little Robin crying while Saul laughs and it just shows how much the giants have actually done for this crew

It was so good to see Momo and Yamato show up at the end, even if Carrot was just freaking out about a giant shadow and her dropped snack

Dorry and Brogy absolutely wiping out Kid like that was a huge wake up call for how strong they actually are and the timing of their return is crazy

I still get teary seeing Saul frozen in the ice and hearing him tell Robin to find her friends and he really was the best father figure she ever had

The transition from the calm seas into the absolute chaos of the Grand Line was handled perfectly, and it really captured how big the world is

The way the water flows up Reverse Mountain makes zero sense but it looked so cool on screen

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode caps off the Warship Island Arc, resolving the major conflict that escalated across the preceding episodes, particularly the events of Episode 60. It functions as the final chapter before the Straw Hats cross into Grand Line territory, making it a critical narrative bridge. Episode 62 immediately shifts gears with the introduction of the giant whale Laboon, signaling the true beginning of the Grand Line saga and a dramatic new phase for the crew.
