Smoker is so mad he has to work with a pirate but seeing him and Law finally agree to take down Vergo was the best part

I am still thinking about that fire wave from Zoro and Kinemon and how they just tore through those laboratory shutters like they were paper

Franky using his farts to fly and then blasting fireballs is exactly why he is the best part of the crew and he really saved the day during that escape

Caesar is such a weird villain with those gastanets but watching him realize his poison does not work on Luffy was still a decent highlight

Law really thought ahead by switching those sea stone chains and his plan actually worked despite Luffy being a total idiot and jumping out too early

The way that double slash with Zoro and the samurai looked was way better than I expected and everything felt like it moved really quickly for once

Luffy being immune to the gas because of what happened with Magellan is such a great detail and I loved the look on Caesar's face when his Gastanets did nothing

I can't get over how much faster the story moved this week, especially compared to some of the earlier Punk Hazard stuff, and seeing Law and Smoker forced to work together against Vergo is exactly the kind of mess I live for. Law being ten steps ahead with those chains saved everyone because Luffy almost ruined it by acting before the signal

I am losing my mind over how those cuffs were fakes the whole time because it means Law had everything planned out before he even got caught

My jaw hit the floor when they showed Kid and Apoo and Hawkins meeting up to form their own alliance

Law finally putting Smoker and Tashigi back in their own bodies feels right even if the deal for silence is risky

Law really showed his hand by forcing Smoker and Tashigi to keep his secrets about Joker, and it makes you wonder just how deep his plan goes, and seeing Zoro and Kin'emon join forces to cut those massive steel shutters was easily the most satisfying action beat of the whole Punk Hazard arc so far and the animation actually kept up with the speed

Smoker and Tashigi getting their bodies back was a massive relief for me, but Law's whole vibe about Doflamingo is just so mysterious it makes me question his real intentions with this alliance. Honestly, I'm starting to feel pretty wary about what he's actually cooking up.

Kid and those other captains forming their own alliance in the background makes the world feel huge and like everyone is making big moves at the same time

Caesar is really getting on my nerves and seeing the counter attack finally launch was so satisfying after all that waiting around in cages

Luffy and Law escaping together was a highlight and Law looks like he is already regretting his life choices while trying to coordinate with a rubber man

Tashigi crying over her men in G5 was pretty heart wrenching and she clearly cares so much about them even when they act like idiots

The G5 marines being in such a bad spot got to me and I hope they find a way to break through because Tashigi looks totally devastated by the chaos

Smoker being an honorary member of the crew for five minutes is great, especially since he looks like he would rather be anywhere else but next to Luffy

Franky basically flying around with fire coming out of his butt is the most Franky thing ever and it was hilarious to see him clear the way for everyone else during that escape

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep within the Punk Hazard arc, Episode 603 marks the critical pivot from survival to offense. Episode 602 raised the stakes dramatically with the unleashing of Shinokuni, and this episode channels that desperation into a focused counterattack by the Luffy-Law alliance. It sets the stage for the arc's climactic confrontations and further cements the partnership that will carry enormous weight in the arcs ahead.
