Sanji really surprised me using his Haki to find that torso in the shark, I guess all that training paid off more than I thought. But seriously, Kinemon just slicing through an actual explosion with fire? My jaw dropped, that man's powers are even stranger than I initially imagined.

Kin'emon being fully reassembled was such a relief, I was honestly wondering if he'd ever get all his pieces back! His Foxfire Style is so sick, cutting fire is definitely one of the weirder but coolest swordsman powers I've seen in a while, I bet it'll come in super handy against some devil fruit users.

Kin'emon just sliced right through that fire like it was nothing and now I need to see Zoro learn how to do that because he made splitting that explosion look so easy

Zoro was definitely taking notes when he saw those fire cutting techniques and maybe he will try and learn that soon to get even stronger

Sanji actually tracked down that torso using Haki and it was cool to see his growth after the timeskip

Some of the art looked a bit shaky in the middle but Kinemon slicing through the flames was animated so well that it totally made up for the weird parts

I am honestly shaking after seeing what Vergo did to Law because that heart squeeze looked so painful and it makes Doflamingo seem like such a massive threat even when he is not on screen and it is wild how he has people embedded so deep in the marines and I wonder how the crew is going to even touch him

Vergo using a literal piece of bamboo to wreck everyone is insane and his haki must be on a completely different level than we have seen so far

My brain is still trying to process how Sanji found that torso using Haki and the Foxfire style is easily the most interesting sword technique since the timeskip

Kinemons ability to slice through fire is exactly the kind of thing that makes the Grand Line so unpredictable and seeing him finally reunite his body parts was a relief

Learning that Vergo is an undercover agent for Doflamingo, while he literally holds Laws heart in his hand, is so unsettling and creepy. The fire cutting style from Foxfire Kinemon is also a total game changer and it makes you wonder what else these samurai from Wano can do if they can just ignore elements like that in a fight

Finally seeing Kin'emon as a full person again was such a weight off my shoulders, especially after only knowing him as a pair of legs for so long. I gotta say though, my mind was blown by how much taller he actually is than I ever imagined.

Brook just getting farted on by that random blob had me cracking up, like, where does One Piece even come up with this stuff? But then, seeing Law and Vergo get so intense, it really made me nervous for Law, thinking how desperate he must be to pull off his plan with all that pressure.

the reveal that vergo is actually a vice admiral makes everything with doflamingo and caesar way more intense than before

Watching Law get absolutely wrecked by Vergo was actually painful to sit through, especially since he usually seems so untouchable

I think Kinemon cutting through that fire was the coolest thing I have seen in a while and now I am wondering if Zoro is going to learn how to do that too

Okay, my jaw dropped when that samurai just effortlessly cut right through a whole wall of fire, I mean how cool was that? But then Law's connection to Doflamingo really threw me for a loop, and now I'm just as confused as the Straw Hats about what he was even doing with that guy.

that piece of meat stuck on kinemons face during such a serious conversation is so distracting but also hilarious

it is pretty funny seeing brook and kinemon stand next to each other now that the samurai finally has his torso back

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 598 sits deep in the Punk Hazard stretch of One Piece, following escalating confrontations that have pushed the Straw Hats into uneasy cooperation with Trafalgar Law. Kin'emon's formal introduction here adds a critical new player whose presence reshapes the crew's dynamics and complicates their plans. This episode bridges the arc's mid-section tensions with the alliance-building that will define the larger saga ahead.
