When you see Law showing up as a Warlord it feels like a massive shift and him standing his ground against Smoker makes the whole Punk Hazard mystery feel much more dangerous now

Smoker smashing those marines into the wall for being annoying was hilarious and the whole doorbell scene actually being in the manga makes it even better

I can't believe Brook finally found someone to tell his skull jokes to and the fact that it was a literal floating torso makes it ten times better

My head is spinning trying to figure out how that samurai torso can talk without any lungs or a mouth and Brook just treats it like a normal tuesday

Brook using his skull jokes against that actual floating torso had me laughing so hard and it fits his fighting style perfectly

I couldn't stop laughing when Smoker started tossing his own Marines around for being idiots because he has zero patience for their nonsense today

My skin crawled when Law was revealed as a Warlord because of that terrifying story about him collecting pirate hearts just to get the title from the government

Those centaurs are so weird and it is hard to tell if they were born that way or if Law did some weird surgery on them using his fruit powers

Knowing that Law is now a Warlord changes how you view his actions, especially since we still do not know if he is actually on their side or not

Smoker showing up on the island and immediately looking for a fight with Law is going to be such a mess and the tension is actually getting good

The mystery of why there are centaurs and dragons on this island is only getting more confusing and Law being there makes it even better

I honestly thought the first half was dragging a bit with the giant kids and the centaurs but everything changed the second Law stepped out of that building. Hearing that he became a Warlord and handed over those hearts was such a shock and now I have so many questions about why he is even on this frozen island.

Waiting through all that running around in the snow just to get to the end was a bit much but Smoker spamming that doorbell like a maniac made the marine scene way better

It is weird watching those giant kids cry while Nami tries to help them and the whole vibe of this facility is getting really creepy

Whoa, that headless samurai fighting Brook was something else; I totally wasn't expecting it to be such a formidable opponent with two swords! How is it even moving like that without a brain or a heart, much less keeping up with Brook? It honestly made me laugh and freak out a little at the same time.

Seeing those enormous kids begging for help totally threw me off, I wasn't expecting their situation to be so genuinely heartbreaking when the Straw Hats were just trying to figure out what was going on. It really made me worry about what kind of messed up stuff led to them being in that state.

The story about Law sending a hundred pirate hearts to the Marines is so dark and it makes you wonder what his real plan is

That last scene with Law stepping out of the building was such a huge moment and his new coat looks so much cooler than his old outfit
setsuna_meioh's avatar

I actually had to pause when they mentioned Law handed over a hundred hearts to become a Warlord because he always seemed like a cool guy but that is straight up villain behavior. It makes so much more sense why there are random body parts running around everywhere now and Brook fighting that torso was easily the funniest part of the whole week

The middle of the episode felt a little bit slow, but at least the fight between Brook and the samurai torso had some funny jokes to keep things moving along

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode builds on the Straw Hats' initial exploration of the mysterious island introduced in the preceding episodes, deepening the bizarre encounters and unanswered questions that began around Episode 583. Brook and Luffy take center stage as the crew fragments across the island, each group peeling back a new layer of danger and weirdness. The groundwork laid here — new adversaries, the enigmatic samurai, and the island's escalating strangeness — feeds directly into Episode 585's anticipated revelations and deeper character interactions.
