Brook is the coolest soul in the world and his blizzard slice line gave me actual chills because he just casually walked away while the guy froze and it was easily the best part of the episode

I am so tired of Hody popping these pills and getting back up like he is a real threat. Luffy should have ended this ten minutes ago and the anime is making him look way too weak

Sanji actually igniting himself for that Hell Memories kick was such a shocker; I seriously didn't expect him to go full-body flames, just a super hot leg! That move really proved to me he's evolving into the monstrous, fire-wielding chef I knew he could be, finally looking super intimidating.

Luffy literally trying to destroy the entire Noah ship with his Elephant Gatling was such a massive scale for a finisher and it shows how far his rubber powers have come

sanji setting his whole body on fire looked cool but the impact of hell memories felt way weaker than it did in the manga and the same goes for usopps wolf

Okay, my jaw seriously dropped when Zoro started using Observation Haki to just slice through that octopus dude without even peeking. I mean, my man's becoming an absolute beast, and it makes me wonder how much stronger he's gonna get by the end of this journey.

i really liked seeing all the new moves from the crew, especially brook being a total boss with that song playing in the background, but honestly the ending with the sea kings has me thinking about what luffy actually is. it felt weirdly significant compared to just a regular fight ending and i need to know why he can hear them

Zoro making that fight against Hyozo look like a total joke was so cool and it shows the gap between them

I honestly think Elephant Gatling might be one of the coolest things I have seen since the timeskip started and watching Luffy just unload on Hordy like that was so satisfying because that shark guy has been getting on my nerves for weeks now and I love how everyone is finally seeing just how much stronger the crew got during those two years away even if Hordy keeps getting back up

I'm really feeling like they did Luffy dirty in this adaptation compared to the manga, and Hody keeps landing hits and biting him even though Luffy should be way faster at this point. That Elephant Gatling looked cool and all but the pacing is just dragging it out way too much. I'm just ready to get off this island and see the new world

doing another red hawk just felt like they were stalling for time because it should have been over after the first one landed on hody

hody seems way too fast in the anime considering he is just a shark on drugs, and it makes luffy look kind of slow even in gear second

The whole crew showed off their new moves, but Zoro not even needing to look at Hyouzou to win was the coolest thing to see this week

my ears are actually bleeding from shirahoshi saying luffy-sama every five seconds and she needs to find a new word to say before the arc ends

The animation for Sanji using Hell Memories was a bit of a letdown for me because the manga version felt way more powerful and intense

Hody popping steroids every five seconds is getting so old and it makes this fight feel like it will never end

Hordy is such a boring villain because he only survives these hits due to those stupid steroids and the anime dragging out this fight makes him seem way more threatening than he actually is

I was happy to see Usopp show off his new strength, even if the animation for his final attack didn't feel as punchy as I wanted it to be after waiting so long for this

Watching Luffy take that shark pack attack directly was frustrating because he really should have just dodged it easily and ended Hody right there

The animation for Sanji using Hell Memories felt a bit underwhelming and you can tell the studio was struggling to capture the same heat that the manga panels had during that specific finishing move

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 566 sits at the climax of the Fish-Man Island arc, directly following Luffy's devastating Red Hawk attack against Hody in Episode 565. This installment aims to deliver the definitive conclusion to the Straw Hats' underwater battles, bringing the arc's central conflict to its breaking point. The episodes that follow will shift into resolution territory — dealing with the aftermath, the island's future, and setting the stage for the crew's next destination in the New World.
