Hyouzou attacking everyone while being completely drunk was actually terrifying, and seeing Daruma tear through that factory shows how dangerous the steroids made the whole crew.

You can see the life draining out of Hody every time he takes another pill and that transformation was just pure body horror

You get tired of Luffy and Jinbe just arguing over the same stuff while things get worse outside because the pacing of this whole arc feels so slow right now

My skin crawled when Hody stood up with that white hair and massive muscles because he finally looks like a villain who could actually challenge Luffy

I was genuinely creeped out by the way Hody was convulsing from the drugs and it makes the whole situation on Fish-Man Island feel way more desperate

It is crazy how much those drugs changed Dosun and Daruma but you wish they would just get to the main fight already

Jinbe is trying so hard to keep the peace, but Hody is turning into a monster and tearing through the surroundings with that new power.

Hody Jones looks absolutely terrifying now and the way his hair turned white after that massive overdose really shows how much those energy steroids are wrecking his body while making him a beast and he just wiped out a whole section of the square with a single water blast and it is clear Luffy is going to have a hard time after seeing that water blast

I got terrified when Hordy changed like that because the white hair makes him look like a total monster and those water shots were destroying everything

I thought Hody looked weird before but that steroid transformation makes him actually look like a threat and his water shot destroyed the whole plaza

Okay, Hody Jones turning into that giant monster was legitimately terrifying, and I was so shocked when he just wiped out that whole area with one water shot. Like, how are they even supposed to fight something that powerful? I'm kinda nervous about what's next for the Straw Hats.

I still cant get over how Hordys hair just turned white and he looks like a completely different monster now. Seeing him take all those pills just to ignore the damage Zoro did made him look like a total monster

The sight of Hordy turning into a white haired monster raises questions about a connection to how Luffy gets tired after using his big moves

Hordy going full monster because of those drugs instantly made me think back to how Luffy used to fight before the timeskip, but wow, what a difference. My reaction to Hordy is just pure frustration, seeing him with no inherent strength at all, just totally reliant on those cheap boosts. It makes me wonder what he'd even be without them.

The side effects of those steroids have to be catching up to the rest of the crew eventually. It is wild seeing these guys turn into powerhouses just by swallowing a handful of pills and shouting

The episode dragged a bit in the middle but seeing Hody finally transform into that white haired beast made the wait worth it

My skin was crawling when Hordy started screaming and his muscles just kept expanding from all those pills

That transformation for Hordy was actually my highlight because he looks so much more menacing with the white hair. I do wish the episode moved a little faster though because the talking felt endless

Hordy's transformation into that white-haired beast after chugging those energy steroids was genuinely freaky, I thought he was already bad but this just takes him to another level. The way he just brushed off Zoro's attack and still looked ready for more really solidified for me that he's a truly monstrous threat, and honestly, it makes me worry about how our guys are gonna deal with him now.

The explosions when Hordy attacked were absolutely ridiculous and felt like a different show for a second. That level of destruction from a few pills is a massive jump in power for these fishmen

EPISODE CONTEXT

Picking up directly from Episode 549's clash of ideologies between Luffy and Jinbe, this episode escalates the Fish-Man Island arc's central conflict by putting Hody Jones' terrifying enhancement front and center. It serves as the final tension-building chapter before Episode 551 throws everyone into full-scale battle at Conchcorde Plaza. This is a critical pivot point — the arc shifts from political maneuvering and debate into inevitable, large-scale confrontation.
