I honestly didn't expect the payoff to be that direct after all this time, and his whole meltdown about finally being handsome? the whole bubble park atmosphere was so fun and colorful at first and I was really enjoying it, but then those celestial dragons showed up and everything turned dark so fast and it is terrifying that the crew has to just sit there and watch people get treated like garbage because hachi said fighting back is a death sentence and i really hope luffy punches one soon

Hachi explaining that you have to just watch a world noble kill someone and do nothing felt like a punch to the gut. This island is beautiful but there is a lot of darkness here.
